I've been this chat for a long time. And ever since we got forums I continue to see Anti-Catholic forum threads popping up....left and right and up and down. Why do we have to call them out so many times...and so often? I'm not saying I agree with the teaching of Catholicism, 'cause I don't. But I DO BELIEVE that there are just about if not exactly the amount of Catholics that believe in Jesus and WILL get to heaven...as there non-Catholics/Christians that will NOT go to heaven. If we're not going to start being a little more congenial towards the Catholics....can you AT LEAST start a few threads like "Hey Christians! Did you know that saying 'Oh my God' is in the same boat of sinning as murder?" Oyyy.... I'm done! God bless!

Why do you presume Catholics are not going to heaven ? (As that is what it seems)

I am Catholic
I worship God alone
I believe in Jesus as my Lord and saviour
and I believe He is the only way to heaven.

Just like ALL Christians and ALL Catholics.

I agree, rather than attack them, pray for 'em, and as some say ''show 'em the truth''...I'm sure there's plenty of true things in their belifs just as there's things that aren't right and all that stuff. I mean sheesh it gets soooooo old seeing things with ''are Catholics evil'' or ''do Catholics really worship the devil'' and so on.....I don't think they're evil, I don't think they worship satan either. In fact, I know some Catholic people, whom have spoken true things.Great people too, and not only that, but also, we don't know their heart. So leave the judging, condeming, convicting, whatever to God. Let HIM deal with each and every one. Witness, testify, share God's word, just stop bickering with them for heaven's sake! Also, last note here, we're not suppose to hate anyone! Love them as Christ does! Shoe them brotherly/sisterly love. God bless!

You know how there are Messianic Jews? I believe that there are quite the number of "Messianic Catholics" out there... pretty sure I've met a few.

I don't see Catholicism as a life/death salvation/non-salvation issue. But one of freedom in Christ. I would never say a Catholic is not saved unless it is plainly obvious in their beliefs/life etc.

Is saying OMG as bad as murder?

No. There's no life sentence for saying OMG. That would be silly. Neither is there with God.

Fairness is a principle of God's judgements. That means, the punishment fits the crime.

Okay, so i suppose I've heard "All sins are equal" one too many time. I just did a little research and it seems this is not so. HOWEVER! Sinning in itself will send us to hell..if we're not forgiven. So whether you take the Lord's name in vain...or murder someone...you'll go to hell. ..Though i suppose that's common knowledge lol!

"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not Inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God." 1st Corinthians 6:9-10

I used to be Catholic.
Catholics are "called out" because it's of those who practice their religion. In catholism, Mary is given more attention that what she deserves when all that is needed to be paid attention to is "do you have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ or not?"
Catholics have prayers to Mary and "saints" when it's not really necessary. Accepting God's "Lamb Sacrifice" for the forgiveness of sins, we can go directly to the Throne!
If we do not accept catholic's religion and its beliefs, then we are as their pope calls us: "disfunctional". A few years ago, this pope said that the catholic religion has the "exclusive on salvation" when it's through Christ alone and not through some religion.

As long as this false and unnecessary religion and religious practice shows up, I'll be commenting.

We need to learn to love one another because there are Christian Catholics!! NEWSFLASH: It is possible to attend a Catholic church and also accept Christ as your Saviour and LORD. (am I/have I been Catholic...no...but I know CHRISTIAN friends who are) Every denomination has people who could be seen as 'pew warmers' or just there out of 'tradition' or the like...but do we judge them?

Our role is to show CHRIST to ALL people, irrespective of backgrounds, through our love for them and our CHRISTLIKE attitudes.....lets choose to build up and not tear down!

JAMES 1:19 says "Dear friends, be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to get angry."

Catholics are cool, it doesnt matter what denomination you belong to as long as you rely soley and total on Jesus Christ for your salvation. (and everything else that comes from God) He is the only way, he is the only truth and he is the only life. people from all kinds of denominations will go to hell, people from all kinds of denominations will got to heaven. its not about what club u belong too but do u lean on the ROCK? There is some Catholic (Vatican) doctrine that is incorrect.veryincorrect. Otherwise it would be "The Church". but its not, the members of the True Church cross all kinds of denominational barriers. and any church or movement or denomination is a mixture of God and man. God be glorified ay?

Is it not our job to point out false teachers?Is it ok in Gods' eyes for me to know that a church is twisting His words and not warn people?There is a difference between warning and judging.
