I think we can see in Paul’s desire to visit Rome and all the obstacles and the infsnhe faces in his journeys the imprisonments , beatings , accusations , violent resistance to his message ect we can see that even in persecution and tribulations God can deliver our desires

Paul’s great desire to return to Rome since his conversion was fulfilled through his imprisonment d his plea to the Rome. Governor because he was a Roman citizen by birth

Paul’s letter to the Roman church was very important to. Spreading the church in Rome and to the world from Rome eventually because he was a citizen of rome by birth it made his word more to them than a non citizen jew

Paul was a jew and Roman citizen by birth so his desire to reach Rome with the message of Christ was delivered I. Miraculous ways even though he was in prison he was given his own home and preached the gospel two full years before his execution by Nero

God provided Paul’s desire to reach Rome even though it wasn’t Paul’s choice and way to get there

and this also impacted and established and grew the church who would later carry the Roman’s letter into the rest of the world even now in our bibles it’s reached us

Thanks for your reply pilgrimshope I enjoyed reading it.

A thought that came to mind for me (when I was reading ch1), was that if Paul had not been prevented from visiting the already established church in Rome, we would not have his letter to the Romans.

Thankfully, Paul had never been to Rome before he wrote this letter.. Its been a great blessing to the church.

Just another reason to rejoice:

Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand. proverbs 19:21.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good Romans 8:28.
