Thanks for taking the time. I also think you showed a real understanding, and gave an excellent response. You don't know how much my particular view identifies with this!

As I was studying the role of angels, I learned this. I've always found them to be reclusive and obscure--we aren't told much. This is probably to keep mankind down to earth and away from the deception of the occult and fallen angels.

I learned that, at the very beginning of the story, we hear not of the creation of angels, but instead, of the role they played in keeping mankind out of the Garden and away from the Tree of Life. The path to it was reserved only for Christ far off into the future.

So angels have, throughout history, played the role you're talking about, creating a fearful separation between fallen mankind and the eternal God. They are sewn into the walls of the tabernacle and cover the ark of the covenant in OT symbolism.

Is it any surprise, then, that they play a great role in the Messianic work of redemption, guiding Jesus in his exclusive work of redeeming those who will accept him? And is it any surprise they play a big role in the book of Revelation, bringing judgment against those who reject Christ?

Thanks for your kind words!
yes amen again really good relatable stuff in your post.

this got Stephen stoned to death among the religious beholden to the law but his speech in acts seven really explains it though many find it hard to accept what happened when they worshipped the calf and gave Gods glory and credit for their deliverance to it

“And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands. Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven;

as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?

Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them:

and I will carry you away beyond Babylon. Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.

…But Solomon built him an house. Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye. Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:

Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.

When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭7:41-45, 47-49, 51-54‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Thats deep stuff if we read it all ….sometimes religion hates truth

“When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:31‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Christ still commands angels , the angels split like men did some good still servants of God and ministers to his children like Gabriel and Michael but others a rhird turns and serve Satan in the earth now

“And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

…And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭12:3-4, 7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the ones set over the law began to want to be gods over men and rule the earth , so they tried to break the messiah and hold Mankind guilty by the law preventing atonement . It didn’t work and they lost thier heavenly estate forever when Jesus set up his kingdom

fallen angels are demons now awaiting eternal damnation

Notice that this verses says something very interesting..

"The devil and HIS Angels".

This is the same as this verse, in context........Jesus said....."You are of YOUR Father, ..... THE DEVIL......and the lusts of Your Father you will do".

So, ..... the born again, belong to God, THEIR Father. "Abba'

The Devil's angels and the unbelievers belong to THEIR Father.., The devil.

Actually its not the 600+ laws, but the 10 commandments that were giving in Stone.
I think that "giving in stone" means that God spoke in literal symbolic terms in the old testament. All of God's communication with man before the new covenant was in this sort of language. The true law, for example, of circumcision was belonging to God, but in the old testament it was shown by cutting flesh. With the new covenant, circumcision was done with the heart, All the commands the Lord gave were like this. They were to eat no animal as food if the animal ate garbage to show them to not feed the mind garbage. They were not to mix fabrics to show them not to mix things of God with things of the flesh. They were not to murder anyone physically, but with the new covenant that meant not to want any harm to come to others.

The 10 commandments were literally written in Stone, 2x.
The first time Moses broke them..
That's real stone, not symbolic.

Notice 2nd Corinthians 3:7 """"But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:""""

Especially noteworthy is this phrase.....>"Ministration of DEATH".
That is Paul talking about the 10 Commandments in the life of a person.

Notice also, the difference between the 10 commandments effect, and the effect of the SPIRIT of God when it is Given.

When the 10 commandments were given........"3000 died"..

When Pentecost came and God gave the Holy Spirit......"3000 were added to the church".

The law brings DEATH
The Grace of God, brings Life eternal.

"the letter KILLETH"....(law and commandments) "the Sprit (holy Spirit) giveth LIFE"

People who chase commandments to try to be accepted by God, or to try to stay saved, are chasing "the curse of the Law".
They are chasing death....
"Christ came to redeem us from the CURSE of THE LAW".

Cursed is the one who does not confirm and obey every word to do them.

failing one time means you have failed and are cursed.

it’s sad people water down the law. So they can feel good about themselves instead of being taught by the law how deeply sinful they are
