Hi, I was wondering if you thought it would be acceptable to get baptized a second time. I have been a christian for almost 40 years. I got baptized in my church at age 16. I was a new believer and was ready to publicly profess my faith in Jesus and commitment to follow Him. Next fall i will be visting Jerusalem on a tour. We will be visiting the sea of Galilee and Jordan river and there will be an opportunity to be baptized. I would love to be baptized in the very waters where Jesus was but I'm not sure it's biblical to be baptized again once you have been. Isn't it in the bible that there be one baptism? I wanted to get your take on that. Would it be ok to be baptized again?? Thanks!
Would you then make your first baptism, as a baptism for nothing? Is it then not an touristic event for to boast with?
I was in Israel when I was an unbeliver. And it was wow to be at all the places. Believe me it will be also without an second baptism an amazing trip. My thoughts to your question.🙂
