I can hardly begin to list all of the commands in the Bible I do not follow. And, by the way, neither do ANY of us.

I could just start with eating shrimp, lobster, ham, and bacon... and not even move on to the "stoning" of those bad people that we fail to do... or the blended clothes we wear.

You see, if you are going to enter this realm of legalism, you will quickly find you, too, do a heap of cherry-picking.
Please reread OP, it has nothing to do with the old covenant, has nothing to do with what the Jews were told to do. My question is ALL NEW testament based. What the Early CHRISTIANS were told to do. CHRISTIANS = followers of the teachings of Jesus Christ. Has nothing to do with all that you mention above.

Please read at the bottom of post #20 the suggestion i offered, i also offer to you as well.

Are there 1,050 commands told to the early Christians? i do not know this information, is that the number and do you know where that information can be located? i'm being serious, are there that many commands? And just so we are clear, if there are that many commands told to the early Christians, than YES covering all of them.

The problem with this generalization is to lump everyone who names Christ under the banner of Christian and or Christianity....to be Christian you must of necessity be Christ like and follow the teachings of Christ.........If you teach, believe and or follow a doctrine that Christ did not preach and or promote dia the word of God by default makes one anti-Christian.......many miss this and or fail to understand this principle...........

Just a point to ponder......!
and the question is ....do these verses apply to you....???...I believe they apply to me...

1) Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

2) Gal 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

3) Col 3:25 But he that doeth wrong shall receive for thewrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons

4) Rom 2:9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

5) I Cor 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Jesus told the man cured of leprosy to go present himself unto the priests and offer what was required under the law.....If one gets leprosy today and gets cured, to which priest are you to present yourself to and what are you to offer?
your question is moot...for those in Christ are not under the law....

Colossians 2:13-15King James Version (KJV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP]And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
[SUP]14 [/SUP]Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
[SUP]15 [/SUP]And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

and those not in Christ there is no more handwriting of ordinances...just condemnation for sins

Galatians 3:22
But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

There are many designer christians today who have designed their own religion without regard to the full council of God. Adding to and taking away from the teaching of the New Testament writings. With the countless cults within christianity today it is impossible for anyone to know the true council of God without complete devotion to the Holy Spirit. It is only by listening to His council that we can overcome the deception of the evil one who has filled christendom with his hate and lies.

We we do not wrestle against flesh and blood,...

Christ be with you always.

I believe all scripture applies to todays professing christians , and i believe all sanctified christians follow it to a T.

I have a question though: Why does the sequence of events we call "The resurrection morning", located in all 4 of the gospels...why do these accounts differ in there sequences? Matthew's account finds the tomb sealed, and is opened by an angel of the Lord, who proceeds to speak to Mary- now if we closely examine the accounts of Mark, Luke and John, the bible reveals a dramatically different account....different Angels, both in location at the scene, as well as in number, the tomb is already opened- even Jesus appears to them at different times, and even Peter shows up at the tomb at a different time, etc...the 4 accounts appear to wholly contradict each other? What gives here??

Thee are huge doctrinal implications to this. The resurrection accounts are conflicting- which would prove fallibility, which would change the whole soapbox many stand on. The foundation of MOST doctrine is now shaky. at best....
