I don;t have to

The apostle John said it was the dragon, and mathew says it was herod.

put 2 and 2 together.

This conversation is over..
John saw a vision which can be interpreted.
Mathew wrote reality.

2,+2=Herod.King of them who call themselves Jews.

I have.I quoted scripture showing the only person who sought to kill Jesus.

The only person.scripture says tried to kill him.
The Scriptures are replete with examples of Satan and his UNDIVIDED (Satan cannot drive out Satan) spiritual forces directing unsaved humans to do all sorts of things.

See Job.
See 1 Kings 22
See Ephesians 2: 2
Etc..

All lost people are under the direction of malevolent spiritual forces unless the Holy Spirit intercedes. This includes Herod.

I've heard that before.
Can you provide a verse that shows Herod was acting under satans supervision,,?

Or can you provide a verse that shows Herod could not appear as a dragon with seven heads in a vision?

I think you’ve heard that because it’s all through Scripture.

I already provided a verse.
Ephesians 2:2
New King James Version

2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,

I hope I’m wrong, but I think you are either driving at that Satan is not such a bad guy, or Current Israel IS the bad guy.

Current Israel's king is the bad guy.
Not Jesus, but the other one .

This is what God says will happen to Israel on the day of the Lord. This happens to the ones who choose to serve the wrong king.

Amos 5
“Did you bring me sacrifices and offerings
forty years in the wilderness, people of Israel?
26 You have lifted up the shrine of your king,
the pedestal of your idols,
the star of your god[b]—
which you made for yourselves.
27 Therefore I will send you into exile beyond Damascus,”
says the Lord, whose name is God Almighty

They will be exiled. Many will die and others led away captive because they worship their king they have made for themselves and his symbol ,the star.

The book of revelations calls it a beast. It much like the beasts of the gentiles. But that is what Israel.has always wanted.A king like the gentiles.

It refers to Isreal (the woman) Who gave birth to the child (jesus) and who later will be attacked by the beast. But God will protect them.

It is an overview of the history of Israel and future
Hello
Why would the dragon 2 thousand year after Mary giving birth to Jesus attack her?
Were does Revelation claim to be a historical review?
Just asking, perhaps you have information that I'm unaware of.

He was seeing a vision.

Mathew 12:48-49
He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?”
Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers.

Things haven't changed much in Judea in the last 2000 years. Not much has changed at all..
The people are very much the same as they were then.

Its not Mary, it is Israel.

Israel is the woman, God said in the last days Israel will be attacked by the gentiles (satan) and God will protect them. So this makes satan mad and he goes after he offspring (the church, or gentile believers)

The woman is not Israel.

God brings the nations against Israel as he said he would. He said if they do not keep his judgements then the people of Israel will go into exile.

The people of Israel who do not believe in Christ are being kicked out .They have chosen to worship the beast Insted of God.

Well thank you for your opinion.

But it does not fit any other people

yes, according to Lev 26, God will do this

he did it three times

1. Assyria destroyed the northern kingdom
2. Babylon destroyed Judah
3. Rome destroys Judah

But the events of Rev 12 are in the future, when Israel is back in their land, and again making sacrifice. the man of sin will commit the abomination of desolation. And God told those in Jerusalem to flee. And rev 12 says God will protect them..

That is why the beast goes after her offspring (you and I)

First, the man of sin does not handle the abomination of desolation. That is a job carried out by the armed forces.
Second,Israelis already make sacrifices. You don't have to have sheep and cattle to make sacrifices
Third, the people in Israel will be kicked out of the promised land for disobeying God's commandments.

Mathew 8:11-12
I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.
But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

They are not allowed to stay in the millinial kingdom. There is no rest for them who worship the beast.

Do what?

Daniel 9 says the future prince will enter the most holy place and commit an abominstion of desolation.

Jesus said when you see it, Run. for THEN there will be great tribulation.

None of these events have taken place yet

According to the law you do.

They were kicked out in 70 AD

The Ot prophets say they will repent and be restored.

So your idea that they will nto be allowed to stay in the millennial kingdom is based on faulty views. it is just plain wrong..

The entire Book of Revelation is a historical timeline. Some chapters show us what has happened and other chapters show what is going to happen. It's the simplest Book to understand. You can take any chapter and either align it to what has already happened in the Bible and to what has yet to happen and align it with unfulfilled prophesy.

Its not my word you are rejecting
It is the Lord God almightys word that the Israelis will be exiled from the promised land .All of them who worship the beast which appear to be about 98 percent.Only a remnant will remain.

It is a vision.
Are you saying the child who is to rule all nations with a rod of iron is not Christ?
Or is Christ?
Hello,
Not at all,
My comment was in relation to who the child was in Revelation 12.
There is no reason to believe that every child mentioned in the Bible must be Jesus. The context shows that this particular child was born thousands of years after Jesus, and that it is methaphoric. The context indicates that it is the Kingdom, the conclusion of this narrative is:
Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God...
(Kingdom under Christ)
Since Rev is written in "signs" and informs us about the end time chpt 12 could not be about Jesus birth, the rest of what I said is just a suggestion, I am not dogmatic about it.

Shalom

lol

You deny the word of the lord which says he will brinbg them back together and make them one nation in the land again

Ez 37:
15 Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 16 “As for you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it: ‘For Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions.’ Then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel, his companions.’ 17 Then join them one to another for yourself into one stick, and they will become one in your hand.

18 “And when the children of your people speak to you, saying, ‘Will you not show us what you mean by these?’— 19 say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Surely I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions; and I will join them with it, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will be one in My hand.” ’ 20 And the sticks on which you write will be in your hand before their eyes.

21 “Then say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; 22 and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again. 23 They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. Then they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

This is just one of many that prove God will restore them as 1. In the land God gave their fathers

By the way, The passage you showed shows he will send them to exile.. I agree, and he did what he said he would do.

But my passage shows he will bring those in exile back to the land..

I do not deny the resurection of Israel when Israel comes up out of their graves in Ezekiel 37 and I don't deny the reign of Messiah in Ezekiel 37.

I don't know where you get the idea that I deny the reign of Messiah in Ezekiel 37.
