What is the Gospel of your salvation?

If a person asked,"What must I do to be saved?"

What would you say, and what must they believe about Jesus Christ to be saved?

This will be my last thread, I have been here a week and it has been interesting, thanks for putting up with my views and topics.

I would show then these 2 verses:

Revelation 12:17, "And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went to make war with those who forsook her seed; her seed being those who keep the Laws of Yahweh, and have the testimony of Yahshua Messiah."

Revelation 14:12, "In this manner are the saints purified--by keeping the Laws of Yahweh, in conformity with the faith in Yahshua Messiah."

and tell them according to Yahweh's will one must do all in submission to Him and have faith in the blood of Messiah!

(I would say more, but to keep it short...)

My shortest reply would be this -

"When you cry out for the salvation of others at the cost of self, you'll be saved. Because that's what Jesus was all about, that's His 'name', and all you have to do is believe and call upon His name."

I believe we need to know what we're being saved from (the wages of sin is death) before we can know about salvation (but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord). (Rom. 6:23)

We need to see the Law in all its Godly perfection before we can understand how far short of if we come. Then we see our great need of a Savior. We see that the Lord Jesus is the only One Who has lived the will of God perfectly, and that He is the only One Who can atone for our sins.
I agree the book of Romans is great for the purpose of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ! :)

What is the Gospel of your salvation?
What Christ first preached his Gospel and continued to preach he said: "Repent, for the Kingdom has drawn near."

If a person asked,"What must I do to be saved?"
When God was asked this simply, he answered simply.

Luke 10: 25 And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” 26 He said to him, “What is written in the law? How do you read?”27 And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.” 28 And he said to him, “You have answered right; do this, and you will live.”

What would you say, and what must they believe about Jesus Christ to be saved?
When Christ used the word believe or faith it was an action.

Matthew 21: 28 “What do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work today in the vineyard.’29 “‘I will not,’ he answered, but later he changed his mind and went.
30 “Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I will, sir,’ but he did not go.
31 “Which of the two did what his father wanted?”
“The first,” they answered.
Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you.32 For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repentand believe him.

[h=3]Luke 18:9-14[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]9 [/SUP]And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: [SUP]10 [/SUP]Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. [SUP]11 [/SUP]The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. [SUP]12 [/SUP]I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. [SUP]13 [/SUP]And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

John 6:29
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

By belief one is saved and it is God that does the saving not man in any of man's efforts
God so loved
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For all those that believe LOVE, God's type best described 1Cor. 13:4-13 is released through the believer and no Law is against God's love, only man flesh is.
So be born again as in the Spirit not the flesh as God did give us through Son by the resurrection after the death first

Luke 6:46 “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you? 47 Every one who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like: 48 he is like a man building a house, who dug deep, and laid the foundation upon rock; and when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house, and could not shake it, because it had been well built.[c]49 But he who hears and does not do them is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation; against which the stream broke, and immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great.”

If you believe, you do. Believe is not simply an intellectual attainment.

There are Christians who believe, and will go to hell.

Matthew 7:
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

What would you say, and what must they believe about Jesus Christ to be saved?

This will be my last thread, I have been here a week and it has been interesting, thanks for putting up with my views and topics.
1. Agree with God about who you are as a sinner and what He has done.
2. Trust into the saving faith of Jesus Christ. Which saves you!
3. Submit to the first act of obedience (biblical water immersion) which is the outward testimony of a biblical, inward conversion (does not help you get saved nor does it keep you saved) as biblical salvation is a once for all act. Nothing can be added or taken away from it, and God made it this way so we would fear him. Ecclesiastes 3:14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, IT SHALL BE FOREVER: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.

Whatsoever means what ever it is that He does.
Nothing Added
Nothing Subtracted
IT IS ETERNAL

Jesus plus something for salvation= Gospel of a different kind with no power to save and cursed...See Galatians 1, 3
Jesus minus anything for salvation= Gospel of a different kind with no power to save and cursed...See Galatians 1, 3
Jesus Alone and Faith into His perfect faith= Biblical, eternal, can't be lost SALVATION
