There are many occasions JESUS seek the presence of ABBA to receive answers directly from above. I believe it is important for a believer to seek ABBA presence for answers in one's life so there is no confusion from outside voices. JESUS was always seeking direction, guidance and answers from ABBA. On this journey of life I have learned to seek ABBA's presence to inquire about guidance, answers, direction, forgiveness, purpose and mission. Seeking man's advice will only bring chaos, confusion, distractions, complications. misinformation and heart break. Confiding in others in the Body of Christ might bring pain, betrayal, confusion because many folks lack ethics.

[h=1]Matthew 6 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)[/h][h=3]The Model Prayer[/h]9 “Therefore, you should pray like this:
Our Father in heaven,
Your name be honored as holy.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.[e]
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And do not bring us into[f] temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.[g]
[For Yours is the kingdom and the power
and the glory forever. Amen.][h]

14 “For if you forgive people their wrongdoing,[i] your heavenly Father will forgive you as well. 15 But if you don’t forgive people,[j] your Father will not forgive your wrongdoing.[k]

[h=1]John 12 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)[/h]26 If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me. Where I am, there My servantalso will be. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.
27 “Now My soul is troubled. What should I say—Father, save Me from this hour? But that is why I came to this hour. 28 Father, glorify Your name!”[h]
Then a voice came from heaven: “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again!”

[h=1]John 17 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)[/h][h=3]Jesus Prays for Himself[/h]17 Jesus spoke these things, looked up to heaven, and said:

Father,
the hour has come.
Glorify Your Son
so that the Son may glorify You,
2 for You gave Him authority
over all flesh;[a]
so He may give eternal life
to all You have given Him.
3 This is eternal life:
that they may know You, the only true God,
and the One You have sent—Jesus Christ.
4 I have glorified You on the earth
by completing the work You gave Me to do.
5 Now, Father, glorify Me in Your presence
with that glory I had with You
before the world existed.

Sir, my concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God's side, for God is always right.
Abraham Lincoln

We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature - trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence... We need silence to be able to touch souls.
Mother Teresa
