the Apostles were given power to do such things so we would believe. After the last Apostle died so did the miracles. They left a legacy for us so that we would believe that Christ was who He said He was.

I guess the Spirit doesn't consider me a man to profit withal..how sad. I guess my whole life is a waist. But wait, oh I sure am glad I can read and with understanding more than just a few verses but with wisdom enough, to read all of it and know why He left us His Word called the Bible. What a great GIFT from the Spirit. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord.

The word, 'believe', is not passive, but requires action that backs up what one believes.
How is anyone going to raise a dead person, if they don't believe that God will do it for them in the first place?

If it's God doing for them as you just said, then it must be God's action not mans. And it is ALL God who calls you to saving faith, not at all of your actions or works. You can believe till your ears fall off but if God closes the book on that sort of thing, it ain't happenin and God already showed us His reasoning for this, but some still want to play god.

Sorry but I've seen the blind see,the deaf hear,the lame walk, the mentally unstable healed and of course,the dead rise....I am a witness to these things so I'm pretty sure those miracles didn't die with the last Apostle.
The Bible tells me that greater works I will do...and that ALL authority has been given unto me. It's a matter of faith.
If you don't believe that as a believer,as a child of God, that you can actually perform miracles in JESUS' Name, then that's really your problem. The kingdom of God suffereth violence and only the violent will take it by voice...

I'm a missionary (in Nigeria) my dear and the times I went on missions, they happened...
So i should have gone to tell the whole world...'Hey look, we raised the dead!, i prayed and now,that man can see!'....you must be kidding me. I don't need you to believe me...The people we ministered to saw and believed that there really IS a God that cares and that can do all things.
You've not been to Africa...you've not seen people that actually believe that the stones in front of their clay-made huts are their gods,you'e not seen actual rain-makers, you've not been to a place where twins are sacrificed to unknown gods and where virgin girls are sacrificed to the gods of the land all because of ignorance, or places where kids run around naked and are taught how to be demonic and these demons actually speaking through kids using the scariest voices you'll ever hear...You'e not seen real witchcraft(not the Harry Potter load of rubbish)...I'm pretty sure you've not seen all that so please, it would be wise to just kinda keep your belief to yourself
