Yes, you cited half of what needs to be harmonized and ignored the other half, which is Gen. 3:6-7.

Genesis 3:6-7

When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

I am not sure how that works in your thinking.

But, my question is?

Why did the woman add to the word of God when she said the following?

Genesis 3:2-3
The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,
but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the
garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”

Why did she add to the Word of God, you must not touch it?

:)

Have you remembered what it is you are arguing about?
Or, is this just going to gain momentum by chain arguing?
Well, I think in 1Tim. 2:12-14 Paul overlooked the fact that Eve was created from Adam's side to be a partner
rather than from his foot to be his slave, whereas he seemed to be cognizant of that fact in Gal. 3:26-28,
which is why I argue that the Bible was not written systematically and thus needs harmonization of dots.

And… Lest we forget.

All members of the Church will be resurrected as His Bride.
All the Bride of Christ!
But, many will be denied being granted the same level of personal standing after the evaluation

For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.
If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw,
their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be
revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. If what has been
built survives, the builder will receive a reward. If it is burned up, the builder will suffer
loss, but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.

Yes, but because everyone in heaven will be happy, I speculate that the different degrees of joy
will correlate with the degrees of suffering for Christ during earthly existence, comparable to
why an artist appreciates a painting more than someone with little knowledge of the subject.
(Rom. 8:18, 2Cor. 4:17, 1Pet. 4:13)

Sometimes the non artist can enjoy a work more, as an artist can be a frustrated person and too critical.
Musicians can get that way.

He can be enjoying another person's work while the crowd is too busy dancing and having a good time.

Joy will be joy...
No one will be comparing oneself with another.

I believe the evaluation will be determining our function in the Kingdom. Not our joy.

To use an example...
The mayor and the people of his city will be overjoyed on the great day of celebration.
Each will be happy for the other.

Yes, and I think I am an exception, because I empathize with those who have suffered for Christ more than me.

I see that what my wife found was a collection called "Diagram Cards" that go from #1-77.
Some of them were called "Spiritual Dynamics", a term I use for a section on the website in Lesson 2.
Thieme also introduced me to dispensationalism, which I affirm although not dogmatically like some.
I seem to remember that he viewed agape love as intentional more than emotional,
and I definitely remember him teaching that the Greek precludes Peter from popehood and makes faith the foundation.
Also, he stressed the doctrine of imputation more than my Baptist teachers had, but I now disagree with them all re OSAS.

Agape love is commanded for all believers.

Agape is a love that is based upon recognition of knowing truth about who we have become in Christ,
and is not a love based upon any personal liking for another. Though, there can be personal liking included.

Agape is impersonal love that keeps things peaceful amongst believers of many different backgrounds.

It is willful ignorance of truth that causes friction and negativity amongst believers.

So? RBT coined the phrase... "Impersonal love."

Agreed except I prefer the term omnilove.

What makes u think that the woman added to the Word ? It's just as possible that when Adam related God's message to her ( God told Adam not to eat if it , as far as the narrative says God did not speak to the woman at this time , God relied on Adam to pass His Word on to his wife , 1st Corinthians Ch 11 V 3-13 ) that he added to God's word .

Did you post that, and then later realize, it was too late to edit it?

.....
No, I realized that you are astute enough to recognize the play on words (omni = all or whosoever)
based on the 7 pearls, including John 3:16 and 1Tim. 2:3-4.

There is no evidence that she added it herself. It's just different than what God told Adam and it makes perfect sense if you study the Hebrew word that's used ie: a personal warning for Eve.

Well.. for starters?

This is what the Lord said....

Genesis 2:17
But you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,
for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

Did you see anything written about not touching the tree?

She added to the Word.

Genesis 3:2-3

Yet?

She was touching and not dying....

There is a reason we have this addition on record.

Where did she get the Word from ? From God Himself ? Or from Adam ? That's all I was asking .

That is the subtle hint as to what was going on before Satan tempted her.
Over time Satan studied the situation and determined who it was to introduce his temptation to.

life in the Garden was fear free, very relaxed, and casual.
Human curiosity had been working in her as she would walk near the tree she was not to eat from.

Apparently, the woman had been intrigued with observing the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and evil.
She would casually stand there observing and studying it.

In a moment of intrigue she might have reached out to see how the fruit feels.
Adam seeing her do that commanded her not to even touch it.

Now, Satan noticed that she was the one to tempt.

Adam commanded her not to even touch it.......this may have been the problem , if he told her not to touch it lest she die , and then she sees the serpent slithering all over it , she might have wondered why doesn't the serpent die ? The serpent took advantage of the fact that Adam had......added to God's Word , and he used that against the woman . Hey , look at me ! I'm all over this tree and I'm not dying , u can touch it too and u won't die , your husband lied to u ! So , Eve is tempted to disobey her husband ( not God because God didn't say that if u touch it u will die ) she touches it and thinks : hmph , Adam was wrong , I can touch it and I'm ok . Maybe he was wrong about being able to eat from it also .
This is what the deceiver does , he takes advantage of us if and when we start to mess with God's Word , he sneaks in and encourages to believe innacurasies , he seduces us and leads us into trouble .
I believe what God says , not what humans say , the Bible is the inspired Word of God and there r no coincidences in there , it's a precious gift that helps to bring us closer to our Heavenly Father . If what anyone says to me contradicts His Word then I don't go along with it but to b able to do that I HAVE to read His Word for myself and b convinced of it . What is the condition for baptism that Phillip gives to the Ethiopian in the book of Acts ? We have to know God's Word in order to obey it and there's only one fool proof way for us to get that understanding .

How do we know anything about God and Jesus ? Maybe we listened to someone talking about them but , where did that someone get their info from ? Adam represents mankind , mankind embelishes God's Word and that leads people into sin . God gave us Jesus ,His Word made flesh and made sure that the New Testament was written and preserved for us so that we don't have to rely of mankind and his chinese whispers , the Bible is God's Word made paper ( paper comes from wood , wood that bore the body of our Saviour and saved Noah and his family ) . God is awesome , He reveals His wondrous works and perfect ways to us all day every day , in our lives and in the lives of others and in the beauty and perfection of His creation . Everything God does is perfect and beyond perfect and that definitely includes giving us His Living Word the Bible . He doesn't want us to b lied to , or deceived , He wants us to know Him as perfectly as we possibly can and that's why He had preserved His Word in paper , it's been printed millions of times and there r now only a very few places where u can't get hold of it . God has given us this most valuable gift , we must not neglect it . To do so is serious folly for someone who wishes to b in His Kingdom . That means us ! Me included 😜 .
