People need to remember, the rapture, or the believers being “caught up” to be with the Lord is not a comming, We meet Jesus in the heaven, he does not meet us on the earth. The second comming is when Jesus comes and sets his feet on the mount of olves. At which point th emount is split in two. And satan and th ebeast are captured and evil is prety much destroyed

The rapture is an even that no one knows the time, It will come as a theif ie there will be no signs or things whihc show he is comming, Where as the second comming, We are not only told of birth pangs, but specific events which will lead up to his second comming, ie, he will not come as a theif, the world will know.. In fact. The believers suffering will have hope in knowing jesus will return soon.

No one in the OT understood there would be two comings.. 1 for sin, and one for setting up his earthly reign. In the same manner, I believe many do not understand there will be two events, One where Jesus comes and ressurects his people. And the other where he comes and fulfills his OT prophecies as messiah and King.

The second coming according to Dispensationalists:

1. The incarnation. Approx. 4 BC to 30 or 33 AD Jesus crucified, dies and rises from the dead. Ascends to heaven after 40 days, where many believers saw him. Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Revelation, etc.

2. Jesus returns for "secret rapture." No verses to support "secret" only 1` weark one to support rapture, 1 Thess. 5:17. Nothing to support an imaginary, secret rapture.

3. Return of Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead. Also known as the Bema. Here are a few verses:

"Acts 10:38-42
"And He ordered us to preach to the people, and solemnly to testify that this is the One who has been appointed by God as Judge of the living and the dead. "You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. "We are witnesses of all the things He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem They also put Him to death by hanging Him on a cross. read more.

Corinthians 5:10
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

Acts 17:30-31
because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead." "Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent,

Matthew 19:28
And Jesus said to them, "Truly I say to you, that you who have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on His glorious throne, you also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Luke 22:30
that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

John 5:22
"For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son,

John 5:27
and He gave Him authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man.

John 5:30
"I can do nothing on My own initiative As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

John 8:15-16
"You judge according to the flesh; I am not judging anyone. "But even if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone in it, but I and the Father who sent Me.

John 8:26
"I have many things to speak and to judge concerning you, but He who sent Me is true; and the things which I heard from Him, these I speak to the world."

John 9:39
And Jesus said, "For judgment I came into this world, so that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may become blind."

John 12:47-48
"If anyone hears My sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. "He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day.

Romans 2:16
on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus.

Romans 14:10
But you, why do you judge your brother? Or you again, why do you regard your brother with contempt? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.

1 Tim. 4:1
I solemnly charge you before God and Christ Jesus, who is going to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom:

2 Timothy 4:8
in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

Revelation 19:11
And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war.

Hmm! Dispensationalists have Jesus returning 3 times. Lots of support for the incarnation, and for the return of Christ, basically nothing for a "secret rapture!" So, the Incarnation, and a real second coming.

"Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." 1 thess 4:15-17 says "coming" of the Lord. "us who remain .. to the COMING of the Lord"

So you are right that would make 3 comings. I've heard its one coming "For the church" and one coming "with the church"

Show me the Scriptures for that! More man-made nonsense.

Sorry sis, But this is no way refutes what I said, alot of fluff here, but it certainly will not change what I think because there is no substance here which shows what I believe being wrong.

Support for incarnation?? Here you go with non truths again, I know of no dispensational who believes in incarnation. Not saying some do not, I have heard some way “out there” beliefs on bot sides) but to use this to support your claims and try to show me in error. Thats just another thing like saying scofield believes in different gospels as a means to attack my belief, a non truth.

And this is just 1 aspect of end times doctrines.. There are many more that seperates Amill and Premil beliefs.. either way, non of the verses you showe shows my belief wrong, and your silly “secret rapture” comment just makes you look silly,

From the GREEK CLV translation BIBLE:

1 Thes 4:17

17 Thereupon we, the living who are surviving, shall at the same time be snatched away together with them in clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. And thus shall we always be together with the Lord."

The GREEK here makes it clear we will be taken (literally will be transferred by the power of God to a gathering place with the risen dead and current alive). Now I agree that New Jerusalem will be coming to us, but somewhere in the meaning of 1 Thes 4:17 states we will be SNATCHED AWAY. So, where that might be can be debated. But one thing is definite, when we meet the risen dead (those of us alive at that time) and Christ...it won't be where we currently are. Other wise, SNATCHED AWAY (like robbing a purse/baby/etc) would not mean being TAKEN FROM our current position. So like a THIEF, Christ will SNATCH US AWAY in that moment from where we stand-sit-lay-walk-run and bring us to HIM wherever HE will be!!

That is about as conclusive of a rapture (in terms we understand what rapture means) as it clearly gets...even if the term rapture IS NOT SCRIPTURAL!!
