You way off, God gives repentance, not offer it Acts 5:31;11:18

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
Gentiles and Israel . Universalism then ?

Thayer's Greek Lexicon:

6. δίδωμι is joined with nouns denoting an act or an effect
...
b. the noun denotes something to be done by him to whom it is said to be given: διδόναιτίνι μετάνοιαν, to cause him to repent, Acts 5:31; Acts 11:18;γνῶσινσωτηρίας,Luke 1:77; ἐλπίδα τίνι, 2 Thessalonians 2:16.

Israel here is simply Gods Elect People from all nations.
Nope. Peter was standing before the high priest and the council (Acts 5:27) and Peter spoke concerning Israel only ... no gentiles.

Do you believe the high priest or the council was comprised of gentiles?

I dont go into details like that for posters like you ! That poster was gracious to you, but he will learn, it will be for nought.
"that poster" and I are having a very nice discussion. Why must you cast aspersions? "that poster" and I discussing Scripture is not harming you. What is up with you, brightfame52?

Repentence is not the exclusive gift of God . Calvinism adds ' exclusive ' to ' Gift ' . All it would need to prove Calvinism would be to have a verse were repentance is excluded from people . There is no such verse. There's no verse for any of Calvinism which explicitly states what they teach . Look out for this evertime you hear TULIP explained.

It literally won't matter. He will not be able to answer you beyond his script. He hasn't learned the bible in any other way than through TULIP .

At some point in our walk with God, we've got to put down the extraneous writings and just read what is written in Scripture. Let God reveal what He wants us to know without reading through the lens of man's doctrine.

Hope/pray you have a very nice day, throughfaith!

You have one verse saying Israel has been granted repentence and forgiveness of sins , So all are forgiven? And we have another verse that the gentiles have been granted repentance unti life . Clearly this does not mean all Jews and gentiles are saved .

a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.

(2 Timothy 2:24-26)
Timothy was pastor of a Gentile church.
but you are calling all believers - both Gentile and Jew according to the flesh - by the name Israel, right?

Peter was standing before the high priest and the council ... they were part of the "Israel" about whom Peter was speaking at the time he told them Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him - Acts 5:31-32 (interesting you leave that last little bit in vs 32 out of your spiel).

Again, brightfame52, "give" in Acts 5:31 is the Greek word didōmi

Thayer's Greek Lexicon:

6. δίδωμι is joined with nouns denoting an act or an effect
...
b. the noun denotes something to be done by him to whom it is said to be given: διδόναιτίνι μετάνοιαν, to cause him to repent, Acts 5:31; Acts 11:18;γνῶσινσωτηρίας,Luke 1:77; ἐλπίδα τίνι, 2 Thessalonians 2:16.

The high priest and the council were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them (Acts 5:33) so there goes your premise that they could not "hear". They "heard" by golly.

The high priest and the council rejected what God wanted to give and God allowed them to reject ... just as we read in Ez 33:11

As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die

The high priest and the council refused to turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways ...

Continuing in deceit, I have explained that already, you ignore it, and continue to be deceitful in misrepresentation.

Most of your comment here makes no sense at all. Yes, all believers regardless of nationality are the Israel of God Gal 6:16
16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
