Judas fit the bill for the job, it could have been any number of wicked people. Same with the Jews, God could have chosen wicked Romans to DEMAND he be killed but he chose the wicked Jews to do the job. The way it turned out, the Jews killed Jesus.
it had to be, according to law.

They were prophecies about the Jews because God knows the end from the beginning. God didn't predestine the Jews to HATE Jesus, he FOREKNEW they would hate him.

I think your either are missing the point or do not want to acknowledge it.

The Point is the Abomination of Desolation did not happen in 70AD because of an unexpected fire. Therefore, it is still in the future since it has not been fulfilled.

You argument has no merit now.

I'm not arguing that Jesus wasn't here to die. I'm just saying that God used the wicked Jews to accomplish the sacrifice. The bible clearly says that the Jews killed the Lord.

So Jesus was a liar then...

The Jewish Role in the Bolshevik Revolution and Russia's Early Soviet Regime

Try a few more erudite sources Kayla - or not depending on your preferences.

I suppose I could get all hyperventilated at this point and exclaim in shock and horror:

"So you DENY that the Jews (aka international Socialism) were behind the murder of 100 Million Russian Christians!!"

----

History is very interesting, when one can discuss it without fear of jail......(cough cough)

The Bible is essential however, and must be discussed whether it means we die, end up in slave labour camps, have our eyes plucked out, are thrown in pots of boiling oil, are stoned to death, etc etc etc

As I had already said Wiki is not a source I would normally use. Reread my post. But they seemed well on course in this matter. So yes,Im calling bull feather on the Jews were behind the murder of 100 millions Christians. I think if even Wiki calls it conspiracy thats saying something.

No God did not "use the wicked Jews" to kill Jesus. He used their wicked religion to show them that even in perfection there are no grace according to their lies.

Jesus was also not killed, He laid down His life......... he had a choice

The Jews roping the Romans in to do their dirty business was a very bad mistake.

When the Romans figured out they'd been played for a patsy, they came back and taught the Jews a very big lesson.

i think anyone would take umbrage at being roped in to murder God...
It was not a bad mistake. Without the Romans the Jews were not able to crucify Jesus. It was Passover and according to the law they were not allowed to put Jesus to death at that time.

Except for a few of them, the Romans did not believe Jesus to be God so to them they killed an innocent man.

God is not interested in our revenge.

Judas fit the bill for the job, it could have been any number of wicked people. Same with the Jews, God could have chosen wicked Romans to DEMAND he be killed but he chose the wicked Jews to do the job. The way it turned out, the Jews killed Jesus.
No KJV, it was specifically Judas of whom the scripture is referring and not just anyone who fit the bill. God doesn't work like that. Regarding this, there is another scripture that specifically refers to one who belonged to their numbers, which is why they rolled lots for matthias. And regarding Israel, the scripture was specifically to them. Below is the scripture that proclaimed against them from Isaiah:

"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”He said, “Go and tell this people:“ ‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’ Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.”

Regarding the above, there is not doubt whatsoever, that the prophecy is against Israel, specifically to that generation of Israel that would be existing when Christ appeared in the flesh, of whom he spoke parables to. Consider the following:

"The disciples came to him and asked, “Why do you speak [to the people] in parables?”

He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. This is why I speak to them in parables:
“Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. [In them is] fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah:

“ ‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people’s heart
has become calloused;
they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with
their eyes,
hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’

But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.

Since Jesus was speaking to that generation of Israel, they would be the "people" that Jesus was referring to in the scripture above. It doesn't take much study to understand that Israel is the people who Jesus is speaking to and that in fulfillment of the prophecy. I'm surprised that you would continue to suggest otherwise.

One of the roots of "Replacement Theology" was Martin Luther antisemitism...I have studied Luther as a great General of the Faith---but this was one flaw in his teaching...Grace and Peace

Look 88, Israel is nothing to do with the Jews.

Check out who is the King Of Israel. You may have heard of him before.

He is called Jesus and his Kingdom is a heavenly Kingdom populated by believers.

Nowadays, a Jew is simply someone who holds to Judaistic teachings. i.e. the DNA stuff is totally irrelevant. Read some of a guy called Paul. He wrote a few epistles on it all. Some of us wierdos actually read his stuff. Some lunatic actually cut and pasted it into the bible. Hard to believe I know. (I speak as a Zio-freak)

God tells us that darkness and light should not mix. So, does judaistic teaching have any place in the Church?

Do I really need to answer this question?

Here, I'll help you. Since the veil has been removed, and we are no longer in ignorance, following the Law is IN ITSELF idolatry

It is called worshipping the creation and not the creator, for Jesus is the Creator and the Law was his creation.

So you do not even need to delve into the actual teachings of Judaism, which are pretty grim...

But you mistake rejecting judaism with hating the people who peddle it.

This is just a sign of spiritual immaturity, or that you are yourself peddling something. (Or a function of the big con trick of renaming 'anti-judaism' as 'anti-semitism', thereby painting Christians as mindless thugs or worse, haters of a people rather than haters of a false doctrine).

As Christians we pray for those in Judaism to repent and come to Christ.

As Earthly Jerusalem is symbolic of Judaism, praying for the peace of jerusalem is literally praying for those in bondage to Judaism to repent and come to Christ. This is probably something we should pray for more than any other thing.

Were the judaized to accept Christ, imagine how the middle east would change, and what effect that would have on global terrorism....

the lamb had to be slain by someone.
Jesus needed to be slain by both the military institutions of power, ie justice corrupted, and
the religious authorities which represented those who stood for God yet failed.

These are the representatives of us and our attitude to life.
And Judas had to betray Him, as a symbol of even the closest can walk with love and the
teaching, see the miracles, the changes and yet still rebel.

As soon as any person within this group becomes other than who we are, we have missed
the point. We are all these groups. We believe in civil government, judges, the courts.
We believe in religious teachers and representatives and we believe in love, being close to
people, yet all three sin and fail.

Faith works at a fundamental emotional level. If you do not know this, and see identification
with every human individual in this story, then you have failed to love your enemy. Everything
in the events is a reflection of the history and power of systems and life experience of all the
participants, and these structures mattered more than the individual people involved.

Now there are people here who hate the jews. That is sin, because we are called to love all,
not hate anyone. It is how you know you are not following Jesus, if hate dwells in your heart.

Israel is nothing to do with the Jews.
well first time "Jew" is mentioned in the bible, they where going to war with Israel.

Check out who is the King Of Israel. You may have heard of him before.
He is called Jesus and his Kingdom is a heavenly Kingdom populated by believers.

the bible says [This world] becomes his kingdom in Revelation 11:15

And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying,
The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ;
and he shall reign for ever and ever.

So is your home country ruled by Christ, with a rod of iron [ by force ] ?

Nowadays, a Jew is simply someone who holds to Judaistic teachings. i.e.
the DNA stuff is totally irrelevant.

tell that to the holocast survivers, or hitler who thought his race replaced there race.
the bible says there will be one more resuraction of the holy roman empire.

God tells us that darkness and light should not mix.
Proverbs 6:23 (KJV)
For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light;
and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

So, does judaistic teaching have any place in the Church?

What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
Much every way:chiefly, because that unto them
were committed [the oracles of God]. Romans 3:2

For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need
that one teach you again which be the first principles of

[the oracles of God]; and are become such as have
need of milk, and not of strong meat. Hebrews 5:12

Since the veil has been removed, and we are no longer in ignorance,
following the Law is IN ITSELF idolatry

Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

If any man speak, let him speak as [the oracles of God];
if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth:

-

Philippians 2:12 (KJV)
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only,
but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

-

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments,
and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:

but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great
in the kingdom of heaven.

It is called worshipping the creation and not the creator,
for Jesus is the Creator and the Law was his creation.
No you have this wrong, man has worshiped the creation[sun-stars-universe],
and has not followed Gods statues and judgements, laws and ways.

In the ancient world, ‘sun worship’ was one of the most common forms
of pagan idolatry. Immediately after Israel left Egypt, God warned His people
against being “driven to worship ... the sun.” Deuteronomy 4:19.

Yet Israel later yielded to temptation, compromised with the nations around
them, and dedicated their “horses ... to the sun.” 2 Kings 23:11.

During a time of revival, King Josiah purged much of Israel and
“burned the chariots of the sun with fire.” 2 Kings 23:11.

Before the Babylonian captivity, many Israelite leaders rejected their Creator,
yielded again to idolatry, and “worshipped the sun toward the east.” Ezekiel 8:16.

At the same time, God declared that they “hid their eyes from My Sabbaths.”
Ezekiel 22:26.

Thus ancient Israel shifted from Sabbath keeping to sun worship.
In 1 Corinthians 10:1-11, Paul warned the Church against repeating
the sins of ancient Israel.

-

Who Changed The Sabbath to Sunday?
The Sabbath To Sunday Change - Who Changed The Sabbath

Sun worship, “the day of the sun,” and “Sunday”

The Romans called the sun god “Mithra” and “Apollo,” and they especially worshiped
the sun on “the first day of the week,” also called “Dies Solis” (Latin), which means,
“day of the sun.” The name “Sunday” was adopted “because this day was anciently
dedicated to the sun, or to its worship. The first day of the week.”
Webster’s Dictionary; 1929 edition.

Sun worship was marked by the use of the halo, or nimbus, which originated with the
pagan Greeks and Romans to represent their sun god, Helios. It was later on that
artists then adopted it for use in Christian images.

The halo is actually the sun behind the person’s head

-
The Catholic Encyclopedia reported:

“Sunday is our mark or authority...the church is above the Bible,
and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact.”
Catholic Record of London, Ontario, September 1, 1923.

A predicted “falling away” within the Church the bible records.

The fact of the matter is that there is not one scripture that says,
“The Sabbath is now Sunday.

Ok, simple question with a simple answer plese don't give 10 out of context verses just answer this simple question - who is Israel 1 and who is israel 2?

Romans 9:6 KJV
Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel (1), which are of Israel (2):
This is simple, but it is also why those who try to replace Israel with the Church make their biggest mistake.

They are not ALL ISRAEL which are OF ISRAEL only means that to be a descendant of Abraham, you must live BY FAITH. Not all Jewish people will be of Abraham so to speak, but that has NOTHING TO DO with Israel proper as a nation. That is speaking of who is of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, and only those that live by Faith are of Israel. But you still have Gentiles and Jews. Paul said that Israel, WHEN THEY BELIEVED AGAIN, would be grafted back in !!

Galatians 3:6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. 9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

Romans 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: 21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.

22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. 23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.

Grafted back into the Family of God, but they are still ISRAEL PROPER, and are not Gentiles. Paul was only saying that to be of Abraham/Jacob/Israel, you had to be living by FAITH, thus Israel as a nation was not of Abraham, because there are not living by Faith, but chose the Law over the Promised Seed which was Jesus Christ. They are still Israel, and God deals with them separately from the Church, which is of Abraham because THEY/WE Believe. Israel is not of Faithful Abraham even though they are his seed by the Flesh, they are not his seed in the FAITH. They will be grafted back in (All Israel will be Saved) when Israel as a Nation accepts Jesus Christ as their Messiah, but this will not happen until the Church has been Raptured, or times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. Then Jacobs trouble will come forth, and Israel will repent.
