The conflation of the Cross and the elephant is a horrible thing, and I believe a large part of what the Bible warns against in Matthew 24, 1 Timothy 4:1, 2 Timothy 4:2, Romans 16:17, 2 Peter 2:1, and Mark 13:5
Don't know what you're trying to say, but okay.

Okay, if you say so. You can someone is quenching the Holy Spirit virtually any time for virtually any reason. It's a convenient excuse whenever someone says or does something you don't like. It's like calling someone a Pharisee or a Jezebel. It's supposed to shut them down and make them feel ashamed for not playing along. Well, nice try again.
Or, it could be for instruction and correction. It just depends on whether one is open to instruction and correction.

In the effort to fight the Godless immorality of the left, many have clung to the Godless ways of the right. They incorrectly believe that the enemy (the right) of my enemy (the left) is my friend.

To say it another way, in wanting to fight the Godless ways of the left (immorality, abdication of personal responsibility (which includes abortion), the enablement of the lazy, and the embracing of poly/a-theism), many have turned a blind eye to the Godless ways of the right (mammon worship, self idolatry, cheating workers, abandoning the poor/sick/foreign, and embracing lies and deceptions).

I give up. I like things simple. You're making things way more complicated than they have to be. Out.

The spirit of God will not be mocked don't forget who you serve and who he is. You can speak ill of this revival with your unbelief you can say all kinds of things about me even but the holy spirit is where your lips better stop moving he isn't some spirituality being wgo dpes supernatual things he is God almighty and your Lord the spirit speaks to the spirit if you want to be in the state your in clinging to your carnal mind then that is fine but don't insult the holy spirit

So I know this is random but I just felt I needed to explain what just happened to me. I have been in worship with God just inviting Jesus and his presence I decided to look up an image of Jesus and just sit there and worship him staring at it. When I did this as I looked upon him I was suddenly overcome with such an intense longing for him that I actually felt my soul try to leap out to get to him I wanted him like I have never have have before I neded him I begged him to let me have him my entire being cried out for him but nothing happened but I needed him I wasn't backing down so I got on my knees and layed my head down before and I told him I wasn't moving from that position until he gives me something I prayed and prayed for him offering him evcerything in return if I could just have him I wanted him to ne so tangable so indwelling so eichly inside me and all around me I cried for the glory of God and I stayed there bowing before him in silence waiting I refused to move and then heard the words spirit of elijah holy fire and annointing.

When I heard these words it somehow reasonated with me and it was like this fire or anointing if it were poured out would be like liquid fire like fire but it runs like water.

I don't know what this entails ow wgat ge wanted to say about this spirit of elijah fire annointing thing foes this mean anything to anyone?

This may express baptism,by Holy spirit and fire.

yes that was my initial thinking but it felt like it was deeper than that like a different kind of baptism after doing some digging I found in malachi 4L5 it says See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes.

And he was also known as a warrior prophet not just a normal prophet and when he came to make the way for Jesus it was his spirit that came in the form of John not a physical form so I am wondering on his third appearance is this when he comes physically or is this his spirit poured on a generation before the end comes.

I was just about to say the same thing.

The Book of Acts 2:17
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Book of Joel 2:29
And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

This may have something to do with the revival.

People trying to recreate what God has done
I too once attended a church were this happened. The Holy Spirit fell in the middle of a song service. For the next three months they kept singing that same song over and over and over like some sort of chant in an effort to "summon" the Spirit back for a "repeat performance."

Good morning,

I would like to know your thoughts on this in KY. I have seen a revival and experienced it. I have learned many things as I am sure you all have also about revival what is and what is not.

One of the biggest killers of "Revival" from what I see in church History is when the following HAPPENS :

  1. People trying to recreate what God has done
  2. Making movement out of the Move of God over following God as He moves.
  3. No Accountability, correction, or addressing error when happens
  4. the abandonment of the word of God and replaced by what is believed to be a move of God or an emotional experience.
  5. OvereEmphasis on demons or principalities that must be confronted.
  6. those who come in with hidden agendas or establishing a personality for later moves.
What do you all think?

I thank you all in advance
What is happening at Asbury is hardly "revival"!

Acts chapters 1 & 2 is revival!

I was in Pentecostalism for some years, and that’s exactly what it was like.
Now I am in the House of God.

Matthew 7:20 KJV
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Matthew 15:7-9,13-14 KJV
Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
[8] This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
[9] But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
[13] But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
[14] Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
