"Christian homosexuals???" There is no such thing. The name Christian means you're a disciple of Christ, or Christ-like. Did Christ teach homosexuality is okay? Does identifying as gay make you Christ-like. Caleb's revelations don't really surprise me but my hat's off to him for presenting them. It's about time someone has the courage to call it like it is.

That’s the result of the so-called revival being based upon seeking an emotional feeling rather than the word of God. Paul commands Timothy to give heed to doctrine.

Flat out lie. I was just talking to my sister about it. She and her husband went. I have friends that went from my own church and others from different churches. Not one of them would hold with homosexuality.

Flat out lie, like I said. Read the comments beneath the video. He was asked several times to cite his source. He ignored the question. He has no source to give.

In these last of the last days the unrepentant, pretend "christians" will wax worse and worse, as we are seeing here.
His Own, however, are getting stronger in Him.:)(y):coffee:

These people are out there and they are bent on conforming the body of Christ to them rather than vice versa. I don't know what it's gonna take to wake people up.

Here's the scripture...

13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

And here are the scriptures that follow...

14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

It is the word of God that people must stand upon, not emotions or feelings.

Beautiful: Revivals Spread to College Campuses Across the Nation
“The thing about what’s happening right now is that it’s very student-led… Sunday night there’s mostly students leading the prayer time and on Monday [from] 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., most of it was students coming up and confessing and sharing scripture. That’s probably why a lot of faculty don’t know yet: it really is students leading students,” Bowden said.

Sounds like there is some reality to what is happening. Reports of people being saved and baptized have also been presented.

Right, which I said earlier because I had friends that attended it. As did my sister, and she said there was no one acting out, trying to draw attention to themselves. She said it was very respectful.

Good morning,

I would like to know your thoughts on this in KY. I have seen a revival and experienced it. I have learned many things as I am sure you all have also about revival what is and what is not.

One of the biggest killers of "Revival" from what I see in church History is when the following HAPPENS :

  1. People trying to recreate what God has done
  2. Making movement out of the Move of God over following God as He moves.
  3. No Accountability, correction, or addressing error when happens
  4. the abandonment of the word of God and replaced by what is believed to be a move of God or an emotional experience.
  5. OvereEmphasis on demons or principalities that must be confronted.
  6. those who come in with hidden agendas or establishing a personality for later moves.
What do you all think?

I thank you all in advance
I think you are approaching it from the wrong angle. Invariably when something like this happens there are plenty of people who have not experienced a revival and are good at telling us the negatives.

Lets hear the good news about it

I think I have read a few Francis Chan books in the past and they always struck me as passionate and evangelical especially for that age group (college age?) where typically at that age youth are indifferent to spiritual matters...their worldly concerns have always been about making a living and or getting married.

That inevitably gets in the way of a Chrstian walk. The number of posts in the singles forum about worldly concerns outnumbers the spiritual. Its not that they are apathetic its just in this world there is so much pressure to be a success...in relationships, in career.

God often doesnt get a look in. So I think its good news to hear this place having a revival.

I would like to agree with you but that is not the case. People have self identified as homosexual. The after effects of such an event will not be good no matter how 'good' it may feel in the moment. I do know what I am talking about here and I am not anti-spiritual gifts. However it is better to acknowledge the truth in the matter of what was going on rather than to accept it along with the false spirits that accompany such things.

It gives me no pleasure to say the above and I do not want to insult anyone here. This, is not God.

It is alarming that even when the truth is plainly and evidentiary given, people will call those who expose the lies, the liars rather than admit they need to pay attention and take the warnings in the New Testament seriously. We are living in dangerous times, but then nothing has more enemies than the truth, especially when that truth does not tickle our feelings but rather upsets them.

With respect, I have been involved in and seen the very type of thing this thread is about. In fact, the so called evangelist was a practicing homosexual who was eventually excommunicated by his denom but in the meantime, severe and in some cases irreversible harm was done to many.

Yes people are saved and those who do love the Lord will not necessarily see the deception at work, but that is what deception is.

Did you watch the video?

Yes these times are coming and we are entering the tipping point of it all coming down hard but the early church was a foreshadow of what is coming if you look at everything they did and went through it lines up with the end times yes they had a powerful move of God but they were persicuted killed commanded to denounce the name of Jesus I mean considering the harvest that is mentioned in revelation and the fact that God often foreshadows his plans several times before the real thing happens we can't look at this like any normal revival.

It may not even be a world wide one but it is a clear act of God and that makes it biblical
Understand that the moment the truth was exercised, great deception crept in. It is the norm because the devil despises what is true and what is of God. Much of the New Testament was written to counter the lies being circulated. Nothing has changed.

This is not a popular message and I am not a messenger. However, a mixed spirit revival is not a revival.

Unrepentant gay students.
Well in that case we DO have a VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM. Revival means repentance, and repentance means a total repudiation of sexual perversion and deviation.

I feel you enter an environment like a Movement of God or possible Revival with awareness and acceptance by expecting God to do what He hasn't in awhile.

It's easy to learn what Verses are being used and interpretation is being Preached to know if this is God to begin with.

There will be Truth and it will be full of the Presence of God that where foolishness is not happening but the Holy Spirit is FREE to Move.
