Yes, sanctification is Habitual Communion with God!
Obedience to all the loving commandments of God is our only sure sign of being sanctified.
Disobedience to any part of the Bible is the sign of disloyalty and apostasy.
“For all men have sinned, are sinning, and continue to sin, and come short of the glory of God,
being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in christ Jesus,
whom God hath set forth to be a payment through faith in his blood,
to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past,
through the forbearance of God, to declare, I say, at this time his righteousness,
that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
Where is boasting then?
It is excluded.
By what law?
Of works? Nay, but by the law of faith.
Therefore, we conclude that a man is justified by faith
without the deeds of the law.” (Romans 3:24-28.)
God has chosen men from eternity to be holy.
Then how do you change? You are not holy now?
By the word...
"This is the will of God, even your sanctification." 1 Thessalonians 4:3.
God's law does not tolerate sin, but the good law demands perfect obedience.
The word of God's voice comes to us, ever saying. Holier, holier still.
We always answer , Yes, Lord, holier still.
We do not throw out the law
We throw out the sins
Holiness is within the reach of all who reach for it by faith,
not because of their good works,
but because of christ's merit and his blood shed for us.
Divine power is given for every soul struggling to beat sin and satan.
Justification means the saving of a soul from destruction,
that he may obtain sanctification,
and through sanctification,
the life of heaven.
Justification means that the conscience,
cleaned out from dead works (giving millions to the poor etc.),
is positioned where it can receive the blessings of sanctification.
Sanctification means habitual communion with God.
In the battle to eliminate all sins and sinful lifestyles...
“God hath from the beginning
chosen you
to salvation
through sanctification
of the spirit
and belief of the truth the word of God.”
2 Thess. 2:13.
Phil 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Phil 2:14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
Phil 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God,
without rebuke,
in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation,
among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
What God wants is your sanctification.
What God wants is your sanctification.
