On being you;

Have your rock as it is, among many other rocks; but do not carve it out nor build a city from it for yourself. For all cities eventually turn to ruins and to rubble and to rocks among rocks' - Me

On the nature of inner peace;

'The way is not in the sky; the way is in the heart' - Siddhatta Gotama

On logic;

'There is more to the truth than just the facts' - Unknown

'Knock on the sky, and listen to the sound' - Unknown

On worship;

'Oh God, If I show love only for the fear of hell, then give me hell. If I show love only for a place in paradise; then close its gates to me. If I show love only for its sake, I know you won't begrudge me true Beauty'. - Rabia Basri

On speech;

'The tongue is like a razor sharp knife; it kills without drawing blood' - Siddharta Gotama

'Do not speak, unless it improves on silence' - Zen saying

A bird that escapes can be caught again, but a word you let loose from your lips can never return' - Jewish Proverb

'The fool thinks he has won a battle when he bullies with harsh speech, but knowing how to be forebearing alone makes one victorious' - Samyutta Nikaya

'Among a person's many qualities; a good command of the tongue has got no equal. Both prosperity and ruin emanate from the power of the tongue, therefore guard yourself against thoughtless speech' - Hindu Verse

On expectation and attachment;

'If you try to hang onto your life, you will loose it' - Jesus of Nazareth

On true works of benefit;

'Do you know what is better than fasting and prayer? It is keeping peace and good relations between all people; for quarrels and ill feeling destroy mankind' - Muhammed

On the real wealth of life;

Among all wealth, it is compassionate ones who claim the most valuable of it; for material wealth is possessed even by the contemptible. Find a follow the right path and be ruled by compassion. For even if you examine all ways; compassion will prove the means to be liberated' - Hindu Verse

On mankind's greed;

'God has created all mankind equal, yet the measure of which is divided by mankind' - Baha'i saying

And finally on the future;

'Do not worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day brings enough of its own' - Jesus of Nazareth

I find that all these teach of kindness, mercy, forgiveness, hope, right thought and above all unconditional love for all men as the only path toward oneness with God; all these cannot be wrong.

Peace :)

These may be pithy sayings of wisdom for this life but they in no way comprise 'the only path toward oneness with God'.
They don't even comprise 'a' path with God. Jesus laid down the path when He said... "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. '' (They can't all be right)

Indeed he did.

That doesn't mean someone has to be 'christian' to get to God. It means Jesus is gonna be the judge, and what he teaches is the way to come to God.

What does he teach;

'There is no greater love than this; that a man may lay down his life for another'.

'Love your God with all your heart; and the second is like unto it; alove your neighbor as yourself'.

A lot of people know how to 'walk the walk'.

God isn't magically gotten by a checklist; nor by being 'part of the clan'. The peace and favour of him is found by the things above; being loving and kind to all people for their sake.

'The harlots and tax collectors shall take part of the rule of God before you will' - Jesus speaking to the pharisees.

The focus isn't on 'how to get my salvation', not for me anyway, it's on 'how to do God proud'.

Many live lives of compassion already. A title means nothing.

Ok i see you are not a christian. Jesus taught not only the way but He taught HE IS THE WAY. There is a difference.
Jesus was God in our humanity reconciling the world unto Himself. It was His death that saved us, the other sages, so called, didn't even lift a finger except to write.
