Kenneth Copeland believes the new and old Testaments go together and form one

so as the ot says “ if you keep
My law I will bless you and increase you in earthly things crops and flocks money and make you wealthy beyond others

he ties that to Christ and the New Testament thinking it’s the same. So I’m the New Testament as it shouts “ do not love and trust in money but rather use what you have to help the poor in love and don’t store treasures up for yourself on earth he has the veil of the ot over his eyes and thinks Christ promises earthly riches and wealth to the obedient as the law of Moses does
The old testament is of God and the new testament is of God. God is eternal, and everything God says is eternal truth.

In the old testament these truths were explained to man through the flesh, like cutting flesh to explain circumcision. Christ explains that he does not change anything of His father, yet Christ took away the fleshly type explanations of the spirit of the law (the true laW).
That is not a change in the law, it is change is how God presents the law to us.

The old testament promised fleshly riches for obedience, the new testament promises spiritual riches for obedience.

Disgusting. Only the deranged still follow him.
you know back in the early 80s he was nothing like now he actually preached a really good biblical message

over time you could see his doctrine change it became more and more focused on money “ prosperity “ and how we could walk over the devil ect

I believe at one time he was a good Christian on track but hen as the money came he was led astray away from the gospel message and into a worldly one

A good lesson of something that can lead a person astray

“But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭6:9-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it’s not impossible to fall away if we don’t realize many worldly things are trying to lead us astray.

like blick is saying if we focus on the glories of this world like riches and popularity acceptance of the masses and places of honor at the tables were walking into a snare of Satan

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:19-24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Love of and pursuit of money is one of the most powerful lures of Satan in the world

yeah the Old Testament was meant to follow the flesh the worldly things that’s my point the flesh and spirit are contrary .

treasure on earth v treasure in heaven the two covenants don’t go together your saying the same thing I am but in a different way wish you could see it
