To The Presumed Hopeless

"Do you want be like Jesus or do you want to live from his life? Do you want to imitate him or live from his life?
---------------------
Michael Molinos writes in Spiritual Guide: An Inward, Invincible Fortress
Darkness, dryness, debilitating temptation--these are matters which God purges from the soul. First you should know that your spirit is the very center, the habitation, of the kingdom of God.(Your center is the Kingdom of God.) Your Lord reigns upon His throne, with rest, in that place. You will need to keep your heart in peace so that you may keep this inward temple of God a pure place.
---------------------

A brother comments: Do you really believe that? As I asked that some of us ran to do inventory of everything in us. You check with your mind, it say's I haven't felt God in long time I don't know what happened to him. You run to your feelings, your emotions and it says the same thing. Everywhere you turn inside you presents evidences that God has left you. Nothing is going right for you. Finally you presume I am hopeless. But did you go deep enough inside? Did you wait in quiet long enough?

Whatever the Lord sends into your life, there is no disturbance in that place. For your good and for the profit of your spirit. He will allow an envious enemy to trouble the city of rest, this throne of peace. Troubles come to you in the form of temptations, tribulation, subtle suggestion. Anything and everything of God's creation may become involved in troubling you. There will be painful troubles and there will be grievous persecutions.
-----------------------
A brother comments: Why is God allowing this? What is he after? We declare to God our Father. Who loves us. Who we are one with. I am innocent, what did I do wrong?
I go back to my orginal question.
"Do you want be like Jesus or do you want to live from his life? Do you want to imitate him or live from his life?"

How may you do this? The answer lies in that "deeper prayer" we spoke of earlier in that love which is wholly concentrated on Him alone.
When you see your peace assaulted, retreat to that region of peace; retreat to that fortress. If you find yourself fainthearted, retreat again. Here is an armor for overcoming the enemy and all your tribulations. Do not leave that place while the storm is on. Remain tranquil, secure and serene....within.

----------------------
A brother comments: A great example of this is Jesus a sleep(a sleep) in the boat and the disciples freaking out, scared, afraid, full of fear. I go back to my orginal question."Do you want be like Jesus or do you want to live from his life? Do you want to imitate him or live from his life?"

Lastly, don't be discouraged when you become fainthearted. If possible, return to that rich throne; collect all your thoughts; return to His face. Seek silence in the midst of the tumult, seek solitude in the masses, light in the midst of darkness; find forgetfulness in injury; victory in the midst of despondence and courage in the midst of alarm, resistance in the midst of temptation, peace in the midst of war.
-----------------------
What is God our Father after? He is after us and he want us to live from his life that he placed in us. He wants us to just not know in theory that we are one with him but he wants to bring us into that reality. He desire to destroy our imitation of Jesus that our soul can so produce and cause us to live from life. False religion imitates Christ actually tries to out Christ, Christ. Our Father doesn't want that for us. He does want us all bound up inside trying desperately to hold our life together. He wants us to surrender, to not live from our faith but to live from his life and his faith. He is wanting to bring the BEST out of us. HIS SON.
In doing so he shows us what real love is, he shows us in reality how one we really are with him. He robs of us fear, doubt, and things that bind us and keep us earth bound. WE were NEVER called to be earth bound. We are called to live from the Father's life within us.
Our Father is about bring about the BEST in Us. The Son of Glory, Jesus Christ.

Love in Him
a brother in Jesus

amen. Your post echoes the following scripture

Galatians 2: 20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
