Sheep, and wolves

There has been a lot of name calling here lately, and I asked the Holy Spirit for some help in this. He made things very simple, very simple indeed. He said to watch a sheep, and see how many other sheep it will kill, attack, destroy. Then He said to watch a wolf, and see how many sheep it will kill, attack, destroy. It is the nature of one to be attacked, and the nature of the other to do the attacking.

So whenever you see the accusation of another being a wolf thrown out there, ask just how many sheep they have attacked, and then take a look at the one attacking.

I on the other hand believe that He speaks to me, and I have made it a part of my life to listen to His voice. So I wonder just who is lying, who is making things up.

So since the Holy Spirit does not speak any more, I guess that God's mouth has been stopped up. Maybe He has lost His voice.

But then again, I wonder at the words of Jesus which are in the bible. He asked those around Him why they could not hear Him. Not one of them was deaf, else He would have healed them of their deafness. But these could not hear Him spiritually, they were dead spiritually, in fact He said that they were just like their father, the devil.

But then He said that His sheep hear His voice. The very first thing He said about His sheep is that they hear His voice.

So, the next time you are wondering about sheep and wolves, that is another way to tell, because sheep hear the Master's voice.

Wolves, on the other hand, cannot hear His voice, because they have hardened their hearts in unbelief.

He lead me to these scriptures:

2 Peter 2

1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does[a] not slumber.

I asked the Lord what do we do about these false prophets and false teachers?

Romans 12:19-21

19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,”[a] says the Lord. 20 Therefore

“ If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
If he is thirsty, give him a drink;

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

also there is an understanding that food and drink are not carnal but spiritual: the Word of God and the Truth of the Gospel.

Again, I ask you, who are the sheep?

Do His sheep hear His voice? We know that wolves do not hear His voice. And we know that wolves rend and tear and attack. Sheep do not.

You do not like my words. That is your prerogative. That does not give you the right to judge me. That is not your prerogative. Judge the words, fine, that you can do, but if you judge me you have gone against the word of God. His written word.

You like to quote this passage from Peter's second letter, but I don't like the translation you use.

2) And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be maligned; and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgement from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

I don't teach sensuality, but rather against it. I am not greedy, rather I am exceedingly giving. I care not to receive anyone's money, and have never asked for any money for anything that has to do with God.

But I take offense that you compare me to those who deny Jesus Christ, my Master, who bought me with His life. Who deny Him but those who refuse to hear His voice, who harden their hearts against Him?

Well, we know the answer to that.

And those rivers are His life and His love, His voice and His healing. And if He must, His judgment so that the sinner might be saved.

You forgot to mention the shepherd's that watch over and guard the flock against attack by wolves that secretly creep in among them.

How can we spot a wolf, to study and know the Bible.

The wolf will attempt to discredit the Bible and urge people to listen to them instead of the Bible.

The tactics employed by the enemy are cunning. We must have a strong foundation in Jesus Christ developed through diligent study of the Bible.

But you don't literally hear His voice, do you VW ? And when we read your latest words of the Lord here on this forum, we're not hearing your words either, literally speaking. We're reading them. So,.....what is a "hardened heart" according to you but those of us who disbelieve that you are a prophet of God ? Does our reading of God's inspired word and not accepting yours as from Christ Himself mean that we are of hardened hearts ? Does unbelief in VW equate to unbelief in God ? It has to, ....doesn't it ? Because if it doesn't, then where does that leave you ? So be it.

Souls are in jeopardy, and many will be lost because they have been mislead to believe just as do you, that God does not love us enough to talk to us, to lead us personally. He is a God who is far away, and who does not care, who will not hear us nor heal us. Well, that is a lie. It will not stand.

There are people who are shown many things in other ways. These are called gifts. If someone does not understand, it does not make that person any less a Christian. If someone does not understand, did you pray three times to God about that thorn in your side, only to find out that God's grace is sufficient? You asked a ligament question, and anything that comes after the question should be a moment of learning who we are in Christ; even the person who asked the question. "As you speak, don't you also learn?" Is a powerful concept.

Jesus said this:

Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal, and to kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. He who is a hireling, and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, beholds the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep, and flees, and the wolf snatches them, and scatters them.

The wolves know the bible better than you do. They are not discrediting the bible, we have done that all on our own. No, the wolf is easy to spot, because they only do this, snatch and scatter. It is those who say that they are shepherds and are not, those are the ones who we are warned about. If we have wisdom, we can see the wolves. But the hirelings, those who are not concerned about the sheep, those are harder to see.

The only way to a strong foundation with and in Jesus is by fellowship with Him.
