For those who know me, you know that I believe the "Great Tribulation" spoken of by Jesus (Mat 24:21) dealt only with Israel and that wicked, adulteress generation which persecuted and killed Him. God took vengeance upon them in 66-70 AD.

However, Jesus spoke of returning "immediately following (another) 'tribulation of those days'" in Mat 24:29. It is this Tribulation that is future. So what is this tribulation and the signs leading up to it? Let's start with Luke 17.

[SUP]26 [/SUP]And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: [SUP]27 [/SUP]They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage...[SUP]28 [/SUP]Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built...

So it will be a time of great sinning. Jude confirms this. Jude starts out talking about the fallen angels who had gone after strange flesh. Then compares their sins to the condition on the earth just prior to judgment:

[SUP]8 [/SUP]Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries...[SUP]10 [/SUP]But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves. [SUP]11 [/SUP]Woe to them!... [SUP]13 [/SUP]raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame...all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”...[SUP]16 [/SUP]These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage...there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. [SUP]19 [/SUP]These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.

In Luke 21 we see some of this repeated.

[SUP]25 [/SUP]“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring...

These "seas and waves" are people, not the oceans as Jude makes clear and Luke confirms.

Is there any doubt homosexuality is at an all time high as is mocking God and those of us following Him? How about speaking evil of leaders? Any grumbling and complaining going on out there in the world? Any seeking to divide?

Peter echoes much of this in 2 Pet 3:

[SUP]3 [/SUP]knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, [SUP]4 [/SUP]and saying,“Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”

Then Paul states these wicked people are committing these acts just prior to Christ returning. Paul, like Jesus, refer to the repaying of the wicked as "tribulation."

[SUP]6 [/SUP]since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you... [SUP]8 [/SUP]in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ...

So, there will be evil, those who speak against God and have no respect for our leaders. There will be increase sexual sins and persecution of those who obey God's commandments. These are the conditions of man just prior to Christ return. However, as Paul teaches below:

But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. [SUP]2 [/SUP]For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.

Christ returns as a thief in the night. Nobody knows the day or hour and the wicked will be carrying on like nothing is coming. They will have no clue. They will have their protests and rallies, their riots and media attention without any clue that judgment looms. But for Christians, we are given these signs to know the season and the season fits the days we are in now. But it is likely to get far worse.

Mat 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
Mat 24:2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

This is all Jesus says concerning Jerusalem being overthrown, which He said that in response to the disciples thinking the physical buildings were something special, but Jesus said they are coming down.

Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

That left off from Jerusalem being overthrown, for Jesus did not need to go in to detail about it,for what is there to tell, and He only responded to the disciples that thought the buildings were something special, and the disciples asked Jesus about the sign of His coming, and the end of the world,so Jesus told them,so it has nothing to do with the overthrown of Jerusalem.

Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Mat 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Then Jesus tells them of spiritual deception, and what does that have to do with the physical overthrow of Jerusalem, and Jesus told them do not worry what they can do to the body, but can do no more.

Mat 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Mat 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Mat 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

The things that Jesus mentioned here can only be understood if a person has a view of what the world is doing, for how can the disciples know of these things that shall take place on earth having a limited view of the world. How would they know of nation rising against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and famines, and pestilences, and natural disasters, that will take place on different areas of the world.

The only way a person can know that is if there is technology like now where they have a view of the world.

Also how can the disciples know of kingdom against kingdom, when the Roman Empire was the only kingdom they knew, and was operating in power, and again how can they know of these things having a limited view of what is happening on earth.

Jesus told them of things that would occur on different places on earth, and how would they know that, and what has that got to do with the overthrow of Jerusalem, and what has that got to do with them being persecuted, and how does that apply as a warning.

Dan 12:8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
Dan 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

Dan 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Daniel did not understand what was being told him,but was told go his way,do not worry about it,for you cannot understand, but the book is sealed unto the time of the end, many shall run to and fro, advanced travel, and knowledge shall be increased, advanced technology, which means when the saints get to that time they will understand for they can see what the world is doing.

Why would Jesus tell them of spiritual things if it is a physical overthrow of Jerusalem, and how could there be so much spiritual deception at that time when Christianity is young, with the many false Christs, and false prophets, which are people claiming Christianity wrongly, for it would not be that distorted, and the Roman Empire had not embraced Christianity like they did in the later years.

And why would Jesus tell them of things that shall occur on different places on earth, that they have no way to know having a limited view of the world, but they would be in the same position as Daniel, and what does famines, and earthquakes, have anything to do with the overthrow of Jerusalem, and persecution, and how would they know of those things, and how would they know of nation rising against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, for the only way a person could know those things is if they have a view of the world to know what is going on in the world.

Jesus is obviously telling the end time when there is advanced travel and technology, where the saints can see what the world is doing, and know that it is close to the end time, and is the end time, which is occurring now.

Jesus only said the building are coming down, and then tells them of Him coming back, and the end time, and the things that shall occur on earth, and the spiritual deception, that is occurring now, especially the new age movement and their occult interpretation of the Bible that produces many false teachers with different paths for spiritual enlightenment.

Mat 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

The saints shall be hated of all nations, not a few nations, not the Roman Empire, but shall be hated of all nations.

Now how is that possible back then for the saints to be hated of all nations. Was the Native Americans over here saying oh them silly Jews,I hate them. Was all nations hating the Christians back then, when a lot of nations did not even know what was going on in Jerusalem,or that the Jews existed.

And for people that think there is two tribulations,it is all one warning that is close to the end time, and Jesus coming back, when the saints have a view of their world, and can understand the things that shall occur on earth as an indicator it is the end time.

When the disciples asked Jesus to tell them of His coming back, and the end of the world, that is what He did.He did not tell them of anything back them but told them what they asked.

Mat 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
Mat 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Mat 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

And since iniquity shall abound the love of many shall wax cold.Again what does that have to do with Jerusalem being overthrown, and spiritual deception, but this occurs now, which God told us of the last generation before Jesus comes back that will be an attitude unlike any in the past, disobedient to parents, highly selfish, highly arrogant,to devour the poor from among the earth, and the needy from among men, which we see happening now, which iniquity is selfishness, arrogance, and self exaltation, which we see today worse than ever in the history of mankind, and will get worse.

Mat 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Why would Jesus tell them the Gospel shall be preached in to all the world as a witness unto all nations,if He is telling them about the physical overthrow of Jerusalem, and spiritual deception, for how can the Gospel be preached in to the whole world back then.

But it applies today, which is possible because of advanced travel, and advanced technology, which the world can communicate with each other, and travel to each other, and the Gospel will be preached in to all the world as a witness to them, and then comes the end.

Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Mat 24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Mat 24:17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
Mat 24:18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
Mat 24:19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
Mat 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

And also how can that be the greatest persecution back then, and will never be greater than that, for I am sure there was greater persecution in the later years.

In the end time it will be the greatest persecution for it involves the whole world persecuting Christianity under the rule of the beast.

Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Immediately after the tribulation of those days the resurrection shall occur, which the resurrection has not happened yet,so how is that immediately after the tribulation if it has not occurred yet.

Jesus said the building are coming down, and then told them of His coming back, and the end of the world,so that is what He talked about, not the physical overthrowing of Jerusalem, and spiritual deception, and persecution, back then, but what is happening at the end time, and close to His coming back, which is now.

We can see famines, and natural disasters, and pestilences, that shall occur on different places on earth. They could not.

We can see all the spiritual deception, new age movement, occult interpretation of the Bible,Scientology, all the different denominations, which they would of not been that distorted back then.

We can see nation against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. They could not.

Building coming down, that is it,then telling of His coming back, and the end of the world, not the physical overthrow of Jerusalem, and persecution, back then.

My concern is not the wicked they are not the time keeper Israel is. My concern is where will the church be?
Now I'm not starting a trib thread so don't go ther but this is a interesting fact.
In the year 2021 only 5 percent of the world will hear the gospel message....5 percent.
In Paul's day and latter it was known throughout the world. What happened?
Signs of the times are matching up very quickly with biblical prophecy but where is the church in all this?

Daniel 12 tells us that there are yet 1335 days left to deal with Israel....It also tells that the GREAT TRIBULATION is at the end of the age and not when Rome razed Jerusalem under Titus......

The seals, trumpets and thunders comprise the GREAT TRIBULATION which is erroneously attributed to God's wrath because the ONE'S hiding in the dens and caves wrongly attribute it to GOD...

The WRATH of GOD is ANNOUNCED as being here at the sounding of the 7th TRUMP of REVELATION...IN HEAVEN I MIGHT ADD......!
