Unfortunately, if all you hear is crickets, you're gonna have to wait...

I am claiming God, that just loves you as you are. you do not have to clean up and prove anything to anyone else, not even yourself. (Phil 3) Between God and you in belief to God, you will agree and see what is good for you and stop it willingly, thanks to this love of God for you too.
God just loves us all so deeply, God, sent Son to die in our places of death. It has nothing to do with the flesh to continue to live. All flesh is considered dead by God ever since the first Adam ate from that tree in unbelief to 'God, the Soul is what God saves, by belief to God
James 1:21
Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls
Tell, God from within you, you believe God and see. Just do not quit no matter what troubles come up against you.
You do not try to stop sin, as religion teaches us to do. You trust God who stops it through you, so you will not boast over doing it correctly or not anymore.

Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight soulswere saved by water
God is after to save our Souls, not our flesh , yet man is trying to get God to save their flesh, focused on what each person does or does not do, which creates more sin of the flesh over and over and over again, even those that think they got it are not humble in it. Pride has got those under its control having a "Betty better than you attitude" Not one person is better that another.
No flesh can please God, but Son's that did that for us to be new in love and mercy to all, not just a few as first born flesh nature only knows how to do
He is risen, where new life is given to those that believe God and will not quit belief to God, as troubles are there to try to stop us in belief to this love and mercy given us

The historical evidence for the life, death and resurrection is objectively sound. If Jesus died and rose again, the Bible is telling us the truth.
But it is not the purpose of the Bible to furnish us with a growing list of truth claims. The purpose of the Bible is to bring us into a growing, deepening relationship with the living God that changes us daily into a better more Christ-like person in both thoughts and deeds. We need to read the Bible with that purpose in mind, and God will reveal therein what we need to know and do to achieve that goal.
Maybe you could try this experiment. Read some scripture in the evening and/or the next morning, asking God to show you what that passage is showing you about God's character, and what it is advising you to do and to avoid doing to become more like Him in character. Then be alert during the unfolding day for opportunities God leads you into to practice what you heard that morning. See if that begins to persuade you that the Bible is relevant and the Christian God is at work in your life.
Maybe Matthew chapters 5 to 7 could be somewhere to start.

you are at God's mercy as we all are at that point where we have seen the truth, the truth is we are all without God and without hope in this world. We are all dead men.
God has sent His Son to grant new life to all who will call upon Him and will trust Him. That life is in Christ and He gives to whom He will.
