Thank you brother, but do you read my post?

Yes I do, but I think you are letting people who are stupid to bother you. You have God Almighty living inside of you. Greater is HE that lives in YOU...never forget that. If a believer tries to deceive you, you need to "Rebuke" that person and give it to God.

I mean people, also in C C who told me, of course you are saved, but to be a real Christian you need the Gift of speaking in tongues. I cant find this teaching taught in the NT that every Christian has to speak in tongues ore was speaking in tongues.
Pretty much everybody on the thread already agreed (multiple times) that nothing except faith in Christ is required for salvation and for being a real Christian and that this isn't Biblical teaching, so I don't know why do you keep pressing this matter on and on. You're always going to run into people who teach un-biblical things, that's unavoidable. What additional validation do you need from forum members to help you move on? This is getting old.

Another scripture of being Slain in the Spirit. Revelation 1:17 - And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead.
1. Please note that John was already "in the Spirit" on the Lord's Day at the time that he heard the voice of Christ. And when John fell at the feet of Christ he FELL FORWARDS at His feet, not backwards. He turned after hearing the voice, saw Christ is all His glory and majesty, and prostrated himself. All those who fell to the ground to worship God or Christ prostrated themselves by falling on their faces and facing forward. But they did not remain lying on their backs on the ground for an extended period.

2. The next thing to note is that that was a vision to an apostle-prophet. The prophet Daniel had similar visions and he too fell forward: Now as he was speaking with me [Daniel], I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright. (Dan 8:18).

3. Those who venture to be *slain by the Spirit* are prepared to have a preacher strike them on the forehead and receive some kind of electrical shock (like the use of a taser). Perhaps some are there for being healed. But they all fall backwards.

4. Before Christ was taken captive, those who were His enemies approached Him as if He was just another evildoer. Instead when Jesus said that He is "I AM" they fell BACKWARDS in shock, awe, and fear, not forwards to receive a vision or a blessing.

JOHN 18
4 Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon Him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?
5 They answered Him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I AM [he.] And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.
6
As soon then as He had said unto them, I AM [he], they went backward, and fell to the ground. [Note: "he" should not have been inserted by the translators, and I AM should have been capitalized]

JOHN GILL'S COMMENTARY
As soon then as he had said unto them I am he,.... Immediately upon his speaking these words, which were delivered with so much majesty and authority, and were attended with such a divine power: they went backward, and fell to the ground; they were confounded, surprised, and intimidated, and seemed as if they would have chose rather to have fled from him, than to have apprehended him; and as they retired and went backward, they fainted away, as it were, either at the majesty of his looks, or at the power of his words, or both, so that they became like dead men, falling to the ground....

Which means that that is the experience of Christ's enemies in the Bible, not His friends, or His disciples. Had God planned to rescue Christ those men would have been dead right there.

It is not the point. The point is that people come and tell you, you need to have the Gift of speaking in tongues, otherwise you are not a real Christian. This is false teaching. Ore people come and say Jesus heals you from your sickness, you need only faith. And of you stay sick its because of your lack on faith. This is false teaching.
I know that I dont need to speak in tongues. I know that if I stay sick it is not because of lack on faith. But many are deceived and brought in pressure because of those false teachings.
Hi Wolfie!

Yes. If that's what people are doing it's blödsinn.
Whether all charismatics claim this is another question.

Good to see you!

This is easy to answer so I will answer this first.

If you as a human being concludes that Jesus is real and you need Him for Salvation, naturally you will believe everything about Him.
But do you think its actually possible for the thief on the cross to believe that Jesus would rise again from the dead, before the thief pass away?

None of the 12 certainly expected that, otherwise they will be camping outside the tomb on resurrection day.

Then you should read all threads. And you should read what I have written and not put your thoughts in it. I have nowhere written, that people here told me I am not saved. But what people claim in there posts is, f.e. that you only can worship God if you do it by speaking in tongues. Ore that you are not able to serve God, if you deny the baptism with the Holy Spirit which enables you to serve the Lord. But with this baptism they mean the baptism which is given since 1901 in pentecostal and later in charismatic movements. Also, I do not open threads with charismatic ore pentecostal claimings. Do you mean I should stay away from this threads, because I dont agree with those teachings? Well, if this chatroom is an pentecostal/charismatic chatroom. I have no Problems to leave it. Till now I thought this is an Christian chatroom. Where it is allowed to questionable the claimes which are made in the threads.
If my post are such unwanted, then I asked for to ban me.

Nice to see you, too. I know there are differences. But there Main teaching is going this way. There is no perhaps ore maby. When we Talk about eschatologie we must they ol, it can be pretrib, it can be also amillian. We dont know this shure, if we are honest. So I believe pretrib and dont push it to others ore tell them, they are lacking something in their Christian life, if they dont believe it.
In the teachings of the pentecostal you cant find an perhaps ore maby. If you dont have there expierience with the Holy Spirit, you lack something in your life as Christian. And they let you very know that you miss something. I only questioning auch teachings, because I found such teachings not taught in NT letters.

No it doesn’t. We make mistakes when we’re angry, and when the storm subsides there’s usually some level of sorrow and regret. The latter reveals the true heart of the person.

I concur, and state that we ALL continue to NEED His love!

Just wondering why Pentecostal Churches have Sermons and "NEVER" try to destroy other Denominations, but the other Denominations make it a purpose to DESTROY Pentecostal? As someone who follows no Denomination, it makes me want to choose the Pentecostal side since I believe the other Denominations are like a group of old hens on a porch complaining about everyone else but themselves.
Choosing a denomination should be based on a healthy relationship with God and a firm grasp of scripture, researching denominational doctrine and history.

but it's the mocking...the videos ...the acting like those who are not cessationists all behave in the manner shown in the mocking videos
This sums up all that I wanted to say too. I dont mind someone disagreeing with me on the continuation of the gifts, I feel bad for them because they are missing out on so much. Its the mocking as you said that makes it unbearable. I dont roll on the floor barking or any of the ridicilous blasphemy thats going on in the hyper-charismatic churches these days with gold dust allegedly falling and the emotional hysteria. I just simply believe what the Bible teaches that the gifts will continue until Jesus returns.

You need to learn about the originals and then compare what you see today with them.

Is it?
I took their Scripture reference and can clearly see what they are doing.
So you are assigning intention and then casting judgment based on the intention you assigned.
Yep, that's the very definition of the judgement that we are told not to do.

I took the time to pray and God revealed unto me that you need this more than I do. I definitely could be mistaken in what I have said. We are Family! And I rather you feel better about your stance than how I see it. I apologize for causing this issue. God Bless You!!
God revealed to you something about me. Huh, usually God reveals to me things about me.
I definitely don't claim any license to sin. Sin is to be repented of and resisted, and if resistance don't help run from.
My problem with what you said was that it is a false accusation of the brothers and sisters here on this forum. I love the body and am always ready and willing to defend. I have little tolerance for those who attempt to lead them astray, or attack them especially when that attack is a false accusation.

No one probably wholeheartedly believed it until it actually took place and He presented Himself to those who knew Him before His death. But today. most preachers preach Death-Burial-Resurrection in a package and anyone coming to Christ has the basics of this knowledge.

That does seem very logical. But if I was a nonbeliever reading this thread and seeing how several have blatantly attacked a specific group. I might go off how the followers have made themselves appear, not by what Scripture indicates. I would have a very hard time thinking those people represented anything I would ever desire to be or to become.

Actually, only someone would claim I am judging based upon how they are, a judger themselves. But in reality, I simply observed and explained what what I could blatanty see.

But it is rather clear you have a whiny personality and soul. You probably hinder more progress than support it in terms of God. You should stop posting at me unless you want me to reveal who you really are!

We are told to judge righteous judgments. We do that by judging according to the word of God. We shall all be judged according to the word of God.
