Just thought id post some assorted scriptures that i think are great...add on if you like..
Gen 1:27> So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him, male and female created He them.
Isn't it ironic how the world mocked God for thousands of years over this declaration, yet now it's like, "Oh of course we came from a single couple, science has proved that through DNA" !!!! How quickly they forget. God is never given credit by unbelievers, even when He is proven right...shh !!
Isaiah 40:22> It is He that sitteth upon the circle of the earth....
Or how any who said in centuries past that the earth was round instead of flat and were ridiculed,or worse? Still not a peep of praise from the unbelievers...
Revelation 11:9> And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and a half , and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
Or how the world stuggled with this one? Literal, or symbolic or mistranslation or something else all together !! How can all nations see people in other countries?? T.V of course....Still silence from the unbelievers....
Job 26:7> He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
Now surely this deserves some credit? Unbelievers? No? Silent still? Hm, no matter how His glorious truths come to light...if their eyes are shut..then so are their hearts...anyway...back to the Bold and the Beautiful...lol.
Revelation 11:18> .............and should destroy them which destroy the earth.
Well they probably said this was symbolic also, when this was written, who could possible imagine man could physically hurt the entire planet? Of course we know now...
Revelation 13:17> That no man could buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Even in the late eighties i remember being laughed at for mentioning a cashless society !! It was like, "Oh man, as IF they'd ever get rid of cash, how on earth would they achieve that ?...It'll never happen" !! Today we know how...Again, how quickly they forget...and the silence is deafening.
Amos 9:2-3> Though they dig into hell, thence shall My hand take them, though they climb up to heaven, thence will i bring them down, And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence, and though they be hid from My sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will i command the serpent, and he shall bite them.
Now this is a beauty, Dig into hell...underground bases, climb up to heaven....flight, space, hide in Carmel...bases inside of mountains, bottom of the sea....bases, subs !! Pretty good prophecy here...all very confusing for the early readers no doubt, again probably said it was just symbolic....but we know better. And the unbelievers? Yawn...switch on the t.v.
Yet find a fossil of some never before seen monkey skull and declare it mans early ancestor and hey presto..in your face Christians, world wide news !! Doesn't matter that they've all been proven fakes, that those finds were not related at all...thats if the "credible" scientists ever let independents even examine them again that is !! Oh some did...and proved them unrelated...But shhh...lets keep that finding low key huh !! In your face Christians...nah nah nah nah nah !! Lol....its a sad state of affairs is it not?
I remember in the late nineties, a declaration was made on the news....The most fraudulent of all professions was the profession to do with earth origin sciences...you know, evolution types...the "big boys clubs", "either tow the anti God line or you're out" sort of clubs. Humanists in other words....the self worship of man...you know...we created ourselves (evolved)...which reminds me...
Psalm 100:3> Know ye that the Lord He is God, it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves, we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.
