To often, we see the scriptures speaking to sin or comandments as telling one has to do, or how one fails.
But, I want to witness in Jesus that this is not the intent of Our Lord Jesus!
For remember, Jesus said, I do not come to condemn the world but to save it! :)
Paul also wrote often about how we are not of a spirit that discourages, but encourages!

So, try this simply task, read all scriptures in refrance to what one is called to in Jesus Christ is Lord come in the flesh, as the word to encourage one in faith!
Let the Holy Spirit speak the truth in your heart.
Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life.
For I come to make the blind see and the deaf hear!
May all be dazzled and humbled by the joy that is His salvation, God's grace, and the understanding revieled through the Holy Spirit!
May your joy be compleat!

This simple way to understand why we are to avoid sin hit me today.
For still, too many see word spoken to sin as condemnation, failier, or why cannot Jesus take me the way I am.
I know this, as I struggled about sin this way for many years, untill Jesus showed me that His desire for me to avoid sin, was all about encouragement! :)
Have you ever had a destination, that was important to get to?
Then as soon as your car got on the freeway, you were stuck in a huge mess of traffic?
Consider the traffic as sins, the semi trucks as knowladgeable sin.
And the destination is Jesus.
Now , all you want to do is to get to Jesus, but all the cars(sins) are getting in the way.
And that semi( knowladgeable sin) blocks your sight of Jesus(destination)
Now,Jesus doesnt condemn you for the traffic, for he has already payed the price for the traffic(sin).
The price Jesus payed brings grace, ( a way around the traffic and the semi) so not only can you now reach Jesus(destination) but your sight is no longer blocked, grace also provides the roadside assistance, if you break down!
It is really very simple, Jesus says to sin no more, so that you will not get caught in the traffic, or take the wrong exit because your view is blocked!
Because Jesus wants you to be with Him in eternity so very much, His heart, life and love is all given for this perpose.
Its not about God refusing you, avoiding sin, is all about you seeing the destination, not taking the wrong turn.
The call to sin no more is not about you being a failiur, but all about encouraging you to take the road Jesus provides, His salvation, His grace!
Jesus just wants you to have a direct and visiable destination.
Let Jesus encourage you with His love, and see, so that your hearts desire is to avoid sin, because your joy,(journey) in Him is compleated!
The scriptures(map) are always good to read and have handy!

Ok, anther word of encouragement!!! :)
Again, do not look to the avoidence of sin as a condemnation, but encouragement.
For Jesus removed all condenation through salvation, grace! :)
The scriptures, are to give us all the encouragement and understanding of just how we can succeed in Jesus!
Simply, how to become and live compleatly in spirit, in Jesus!!!

psalm 1:1-3
True happiness

Happy the man who follows not the council of the wicked.
Nor walks in the way of sinners, nor sits in the company of the insolent.
2: But delights in the law of the zlord and meditates on His law day and night.
3:He is like a tree, planted near running water.
That yields its fruit in due season, and whose leaves never fade.

Now I do want to qualify, that in witness of Jesus, we walk where ever we are called in Jesus!
This spalm, is encouragement in how, who and where one spends their daily days. :)
May all our eyes be opened to the instructions of Our Lord God given in Jesus, in how we can learn to set aside all flesh and sin, so we may know the fullness of living in His Spirit, not flesh!

For when you seek Him with your whole heart, then you shall see His face!!!! :)
