" Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword."
"Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear ... "
You don't swing a sword at night intending only to chop off a bloke's ear .... he was clearly trying to Isis the guy.

Correct, Peter was aiming to take off his head, and Malchus was quick and ducked, losing only an ear. Then it says Jesus touched his ear and healed it
Luke 22:50-51 (ESV)
[SUP]50 [/SUP] And one of them struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his right ear.
[SUP]51 [/SUP] But Jesus said, “No more of this!” And he touched his ear and healed him.
No where does it say Jesus picked up his ear and reattached it. So what did the soldiers, the Pharisees, and Priests think of that ear still laying on the ground, and the miraculous creating of the now third ear on Malchus?
