oh, sorry! :(

i guess there's a lesson there for us all....we don't know what's in our own hearts till God is kind enough to show us.

when i begin to feel bitter, i take a couple of days away from here.
so....that pretty much answers that question.

Hey y'all. I know yesterday I said I had to go through some deep things and would be gone for a bit.. It's amazing what God can do, though. I realized there were some things I hadn't been able to forgive myself for. And after talking and praying with a pastor, and then just breaking down afterwards, and later on again last night and this morning during my break at work, I know the right steps totake to build back my rrelationship with Christ. Having g said all this, what does the Bible say about going back and forth to different churches? This pastor I saw was at a new church, and while I want to go and give this a shot with some of their classes, I feel more comfortable with the one I first found when I came back home from school last summer. They're both baptists, so it's not like I'm going to different denominations. But I know all churches can operate differently. So what are your thoughts about "church hopping", as I guess that's what the term is? Any insight would be helpful.

(giving it a shot...)

in general, i think it's good to be built up into a local assembly of believers.
we get to know others and become known by them.
we learn about one another and see ways we can serve, and vice versa.

but getting help as you did?
seems to have been a gift. :)

It's possible that you ought to switch churches, instead of bouncing back and forth between two. Are you more comfortable at the old church simply because you're used to it? Do you feel peaceful at the new one? What brought you to the new church in the first place?
