You know, we plan to get marriehav plan where we're going to live (near mom and dad ),
we plan on having our children. But, but, we never plan for the day that they leave us.
So totally true....plus i have another leaving in aug.
Sigh but I will say each has a heart to serve the Lord and none have called from jail, and even have said they hated me sometime during the teen years, so I think Im doing something right,. My son is called to be a evangalist, but I promise not a tv one.,,lol teen camp more than likely, my daughter is in youth ministry and praying down a husband to help and serve with. So these times are precious when we're all together again. As much as I miss all the busy~ness of raising them, im truely happy watching them become who God has called them to be. Despite my many many "drop the ball moments"[/QUOTE]
I would take yours or mine over others. We don't have but one, our daughter died 5 hrs after
birth. After her death, we decided not to try again. My son is a great kid, great dad, as far as I
know a good husband.
He was brought up in church, around church people, we tried to keep him on the narrow.
It worked, God is first in his life, then his wife, and the kids. We come last, but all's good,
we have never got involved in their marriage. If one would come to us, we told them, we
can't come between you two. We would say, get on your knees and take it to the real
Father. Anyway, glad you're going to spend some time with them.
The kids left at 9 am going to the beach, they'll come back looking like lobsters. Then we
will have to dr them up. But, all's good.
