Yep, that annoys me to no end. I am most certainly NOT a huger.
So many different types of hugs.
Bear hugs are worse like getting the living day lights squeezed out of you - gasp can't breathe :)

Then there are the sideways huggers and the arm around the shoulder hug.

Then if like me you are only 5 foot 1, there is the pick you up off the floor hugs by the big
6 footers!

Hugs are complicated things :D

Wonder if Jesus was into hugging?

My family hugs. I mean, we don't approach strangers and wrangle 'em. But we hug each other and our friends.

The disciple John hung onto Jesus and referred to himself as "the one whom Jesus loved." Evidently, Jesus was into hugging. It's a good thing 'cuz I'm always hanging onto Jesus in my spirit when I talk with Him. :)

each time I have read about Jesus, Lazarus, Mary and those... I´m sure they also partook in hugging (didn´t they used to greet with a KISS in that culture) (the COLD way Judas did betraying Jesus?)

if i'm super comfortable with the person, then hugs are ok. there are a few ladies at church who hug when they greet me. i already know it's coming, so i'm ok with it lol but hugs are mainly reserved for holidays/birthdays/congrats/"i haven't seen you in a long time" events. lol

the guys at church know to give me a side hug if a hug happens lol
