Thank you, Frank.. I appreciate all the prayers, and Doug's family does also. My heart is just very sad right now. Suicide is a subject very upsetting to me, especially since it's family and more than one family member, on both sides, has done it.
Including attempts done by myself in the past. Lord, only you know the circumstances of this kid's actions of taking his own life and that of his girlfriend. Please forgive him of this sin, as he must have been hurting terribly to have done this. Receive them both into your kingdom and extend your mercy upon them. Comfort his family right now. Help them understand why this tragedy occurred. Bless them with your love and touch them with your mercy. Give them peace and strength as they plan for the funeral. Also please be with his girlfriend's family as they struggle to make sense out of this tragedy. Strengthen them for what comes next. Bless them and keep them in your loving hands.
