The rain stopped here mid morning yesterday, sunny, and 94 today.
It's always a blessing to see that child. She is such a joy to be around.


When they put the plate in, she will be placed in advanced care for a few
days. If no problems come up, she goes back to housing . The Dr said, she
will be in the hospital for 3-4 more weeks.

Here's the shocker for everyone, her, Jim & Marie, are moving here to the farm.
We have the bunk house ready, new carpet, paint, cleaned top to bottom. Jim
started working for me about 4 weeks ago, he's a very hard worker. They needed
someone to give them a hand. God put us together at the right time, everything
has worked out. They will be living about a 1/4 of a mile from me, I'll get to see
April daily.

This will be the best Christmas that child has ever seen.
I will pull out all the stops to make sure of that. The wife
is more excited than me. I get to see April more than she
does, not fair, or is it?

Oh, you asked about me, my total lung function is still 15%.
The new meds are not making it any better or any worse, so
they are keeping me on these for a while longer.

However, the washer is making a real racket.....he's gonna put me down...still watching for that tranquilizer dart.....

Good morning. Thx for bkfst, im stuffed.:) need prayer for self this time, don't like to ask but...prayers for healing, cleansing, repentance, resistance to sin and enemy and all that means, strength in battle, strength to stand, rest, restoration, and renewed dedication to our God and Saviour, boldness to witness and no fear to lift up, in private and public, and rejoice in The Lord Jesus Christ, the True and Living God. I DO pray for you all here as well, but sometimes I just feel i need to ask for myself, and forgive me if that's being selfish, but I want to make a new start with a new perspective and don't think I can do that without the sincere help of my genuine brothers and sisters in Christ. Lastly, please ALL WHO CAN PRAY Saturday for what will take place thruout this land and in the Body of Christ Sat. August 22. Despite any personal views or struggles with this issue, surely those who can't defend themselves deserve at least a moment of our thoughts and prayer. Thank you on their behalf. Father in heaven, thank you, Lord, for being our heavenly Father, thank you for your love, your grace, your mercy, your peace, your patience, your kindness, and your joy. Thank you most of all for Jesus. that's how my dad described detached retina... needs medical attention right away.

That is sort of how it started out this morning. The spot then began to grow and now it is covering the entire peripheral area of my left eye but only on one side.

there are a few things it could be (macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts), but the 'sudden' makes me think detached retina.

dad said the surgery was easy... hope you get to the ED or an ophthalmologist soon!
praying for you.
