Precious Father, I pray for your healing touch in every part of Angela's body requiring healing. I pray for her pain to subside and for her body to respond to medications. Father move your healing hands over all affected areas taking away all pain and discomfort throughout. I pray that Angela's body be better able to absorb vitamins, nutrients and minerals and that this in turn would bring about swift healing. Father give wisdom in decision-making and slight-of-hand in treatment to our dear sister Angela's ophthamologist. I pray that surgery will be swift and successful. I ask these things in Jesus' name, amen.
Madparrotwoman! I love you so much. I pray you are well. I think of you and pray for you always.

Hello all, and good day to you :)

HappySunday.jpg

I have been reading through back posts from before I started posting in this thread, and yes, I have been repping all the regulars and then some, but of course you can only do so many before you get cut off, so I have been cut off twice already this weekend LOL.

I was looking for the pic I posted of myself from when I was young, but it seems to have been deleted. This puzzles me because there was absolutely nothing indecent about the photograph

I have also added a few likes to month-old posts, because in hindsight it seems inexcusable that I missed them the first time. In my defense (LOL) I did not fully grasp how the like system works (it is new to me as I do not frequent such places as facebook or any others that employ such a system). Although I did not read every single post from the last five weeks, I did discover that I only made seven posts between pages 1834 and 1899, and then only eleven more posts in the next one hundred pages. :p

I spent yesterday with my lovely daughter :) I finally booked my flight to Calgary for my niece's wedding next Saturday :) Many of my other ten siblings will be there, and those who have spouses will bring them as well, so it is going to be a mini family reunion LOL. I have not seen quite a few of them since over six years ago, when my mother passed and I went to her funeral. Later that same year there was a HUGE family reunion that I had to miss because I simply cannot afford to travel that often. I had been planning to go to it until my mother suddenly died at the age of 91.

Doing good, had a great sermon at church this morning.
The pastor penned it ( Will you pray for me ). It was out
of the book of Exodus verse 11 and 12.

Like I said in another post, the eating peaches are gone,
the stores may still have some. They buy them by the ton,
keep them at 34 degrees, sell them 2 months later. Our
peaches come in at the end of May, by the third week of
June, they're gone.

They have some locations like that here, get fresh peach
ice cream made on site, or you can get strawberry. How-
ever, both of those crops are gone until next year.

Hi sky dear, all is fine with me, sorry I don't post on this thread as often as I should. I really should call in daily but I often fail in that and so many other things lol. England is very humid right now, I'm sure it is hot and sunny where you are. God bless you sis. :)

This is true. I haven't had much conversations with him, but he seems like a very chilled-out dude. :)

One morning a gran-mother was surprised to find that her 7 year old gran-son had
made her coffee. Smiling, she chocked down the worst cup of her life. When she
finished, she found 3 little green army men at the bottom. Puzzled, she asked,
":honey,
what are these army men doing in my coffee?"
Gran-son answered, Like it says on tv, granma. The best part of waking up is soldiers
in your cup.

I played hooky from church today, something I have not done for over a year. Sigh. Surely I missed a good teaching on Mark Chapter six whichever verses we are up to... we have been going through Mark's gospel for months and months. Although last week my pastor did not do the speaking, so I did not get as much out of it as I normally do, except for when the "elder" said something about Jesus leading the new Israel out of the wilderness... that stood out for me :)

In Sunday school, we're in the book of Romans, have been
since the first of the year, looks like it will take us into next
year. Our pastor, doesn't do Sunday school, he preaches,
sings solo, and in the choir.

God is good and faithful all the time. I don't know where we would be without him.

Lord Jesus please bless this older gentleman and his family, who God used to answer a prayer for me and I also pray that he has a safe trip home.

Since the Wednesday evening classes I was going to at another church have ended, I have returned to the home Bible study I had been attending for about the past three years. The last few weeks there have been ten people at them! Normally it is about six, and we each read different translations, with the "leader" also reading Hebrew and Greek. I enjoy this group very much even though they do not believe what I believe at all... in fact, others might call them heretics LOL. They do not accept the Deity of Christ, do not believe Jesus' crucifixion took away the sins of the world (paid the sin debt of the world) etc but they do identify as Christians (the leader is an ordained minister but calls herself an agnostic Christian) and I see no reason why not to accept them as my brothers and sisters in Christ just because we have different understandings of Who Jesus is.

Anywho, we read Old and New each week; they really do not like John's gospel because John was all about the Deity of Christ (I like John's gospel) but we are reading the part where Jesus is telling them they have to eat His flesh and drink His blood. Of course this relates to Him being the Bread of Life, and the manna in the desert...

I like being able to make sense of things. Sometimes it hurts me not to understand.

There I so much I do not understand. I have to leave it in His capable hands.
