Good morning everyone.

It's not the presents that make Christmas so special,
it's the presence of those you love, wheather they are
with you in person or spirit.

Amen, Nothing can be further from the truth,

I realised that greatly while in the military far from loved ones.. My 18th Christmas was spent alone, I did not care about presents, just wanted my family..

I am reminded to pray for all my brothers and sisters who are not home this Christmas. That God will bless them

Happy Tuesday all, Rainy morning here, I had to load truck up so prety much wet through and through, At least the temps are 30 to 40 degrees above average (then again we would have had ten inches of snow if it was cold.) White christmas??
You can go ahead and blame El Niño....

At least that's what the weather people are doing lol.

We are well above average too, first day of winter an it's gonna be 65 today... BUT... This weekend we have a major winter storm approaching... At least that's what they keep saying... And that is supposed to bring our.. "Cold weather" to us. I'll believe it when I see it

Anyways... Good Tuesday morning everyone! Yesterday was crazy busy for me.. Only today and tomorrow... Then a 4 day weekend!! Yay!!! ^_^

I wish my family would have that thought process...

But sadly I have the most materialistic mother in law... And she makes it difficult if we can't afford Christmas.. She would love to put herself through debt for Christmas than just to spend time together.

Ah well... What can you do right? I love her.. :)

Thank you, it will get better..

I have mixed feelings about Christmas this year though.. I mean, everyone is so hyped up about Christmas and family times... But I miss MY family.. You know being with MY parents and having Christmas with them one last time... But kinda hard to do that when one parent is already with the lord. That's pretty much the most epic Christmas gift I want, but I know I can't have that. So I will just be blessed and thankful for the family I will be with. I miss my dad so very much.. But I'll be ok. My dad is having the most awesome Christmas with God right now. So that makes me smiling knowing he's happier than he's ever been :)

I know how you feel sis. My memories of Christmas as a kid was the joy I had with moms family, My grandparents and my aunt, It was such a joyous time (My dads family was so huge, we prety much was side notes, but I loved that too)

My Mom, Grandma and grandpa, and Aunt have all gone to be with the lord. This is about the 5th year alone, and it is still rough..

My dad is starting to lose his mind, and my brother and sister, well lets just say it is not a good thing.. So I have no family either.. Except my wife, her two kids and their families, and my oldest I had christmas with my youngest last sunday, but it is still not the same, because will still be with out family most of Christmas Day.

But I think of where I was when in th emilitary when I had nothing, and all those who have no family left. And I have to just praise God I have what I have..

so I will say a special prayer for you, because I know what you are feeling..

So thoughtful of you to do that for me.. Thank you, I really appreciate that. I just have to push through it this year and pray that i don't cry my eyes out on Christmas Day lol. But if I do, then I do... It's good to cry.. Or so I've been told. So maybe that's a good thing to cry it out this year, last year was crazy with taking care of my dads business.. I had NO time to grieve during Christmas, but this year... Things have changed.

It may be good to have a good cry,, Take it to God,, even tell him how you truly feel. I believe truly he wants us to do this,

It was not in his plan for man to die, and be separerated from Loved ones, And remember Lazarus, Jesus wept (in the greek he baled his eyes out) So if God can cry for us when we suffer loss of loved ones, We can too.

I can't hug ya in person, But here is a hyber hug.. God loves you!!

He who has no Christmas in his heart,
will never find the true meaning of
Christmas, under a tree.

Well, praise God I'm still here. I have good days/bad days, God always sees me through.
My kids arrived around 2:00 am this morning, so, I've got to feel good for them. They got
in a lot later than expected, the last 300 miles was heavy rain. I think you need to slow
down late at night anyway, then the rain even more so.

How are you doing? It's been a while, hope all is well. They say it's going to be rainy here
the next 4 days, then a one day break, then rain for 4 more. I feel sorry for the kids that get
outdoor gifts, unless they can play with their toys in the rain, most parents won't let that
happen, because they may get sick.

Hope you and yours have a Merry Christmas.

Thank you Frank, I am doing all right except for being quite ill since last Thursday. Due to this being the week leading up to Christmas, I have promised to go into work for a couple of hours today, despite that fact. I sure hope I am feeling better by Friday :)

We have been getting lot of rain also. A couple of Saturdays ago I drove my daughter out to another city to pick up a second hand cell phone for her Aunt's Christmas present... it was a deluge that day, but people were still driving 80 KPM on the highway, which was flooded in spots. It was crazy. I kept to sixty (that is just under forty mph). I didn't see her this last weekend because neither of us was feeling very well.
