let me guess: there is a loophole where HE doesn't have to pay it
No, he's quite happy to. He is a devout Socialist, and has been all his life, and not ashamed of it. He makes no bones about wanting to "SHARE THE WEALTH." Take from the "haves" and give to the "have nots"

What's scary is.......................................................quite a few folks here love him AND his ideology.

.......uh..........no........... :) Socialism is not a Christian ideology. What is read in Acts is not Socialism with regards to the Government.........

The HUGE difference between the two:

Bible: Christians willingly share with those less fortunante

Government: TAKES BY FORCE/LAW from those that have to redistribute to those that have not.

Nothing Biblical about that. :)

but people don't do it by choice

are the charities (who do get money from people who choose to give) n the US able to cover for all those with social problems? They sure aren't in Norway

You would be surprised how large the Charitable giving to the poor by the various Churches here in the US is.

The truth is, the Government tries to "suppress" the giving of Churches to the poor by placing Regulations on them. It's amazing what the Government does to "suppress" Church activities directed at the Public at Large.

You can do a search of Charitable Giving by US Churches, and really see the truth.

One Church a couple of towns away from me had been feeding the poor and homeless for years...........then the Local Government moved in, and had their Health Dept. enforce very strict Regulations that normal Food Service Businesses do not have to meet. Then, they limited what could be served, and what could be distributed house to house.

Church ended up shutting down it's Outreach Program.......too much Red Tape to make it effective.

I just love H & R Block.....saved us the no insurance penalty of $863.00 because they had a form to fill out and it said we couldn't afford to buy insurance which we couldn't so we didn't have to pay the penalty....Yay....the lady says well there is a $40.00 fee for the form....I said please take my $40.00 I gladly give it to you....Saved us $823.00 so well worth the $40.00.

We got some money back so I can look for those new kitchen countertops and best part is they are paid for and we know where the money is coming from....Yay....

Good Friday morning everyone, feeling better now that it's finally Friday! Lol

But man.. What a week it's been. Crazy hormones, crazy patients, and crazy dog playing early in the morning... Lol bring on the crying and the screaming! I'm ready for that step in life... But just waiting on the good lord to bless us... That's the hard part. :(

Praying for your wife. Praying God carries her through this trial and guides you both through the rough waters. :)
