The parable of the sower and the seed tells us that following Jesus is not achieved through an event. Our culture is filled with people who prayed a joyful prayer to become a Christian, but who never intended to rearrange their lives to walk in Jesus’ ways. This is has resulted in a population who believe that they “tried” Christianity and it didn’t work. Though faith in Christ begins with prayer, we need to prepare people for the struggles that lie ahead.

It's crazy how fast time flies... 14 years pass in a minute. Sometimes it's hard to accept you'll never be this way again... There are so many days you don't take the time to really enjoy this beautiful life God gave you, so many times you forget to be thankful for the small things. Time is crazy. Life is crazy. Last year has been one heck of a crazy year, and so far 2016 has been crazy as well. Everybody's changing, and I don't feel the same. Okay, yeah, I went Keane on you guys there.

Happy Anniversary to those who are having them....wish we had 36 or 43 years...I'll take the 1 1/2 and thank God for everyday He gives us.

Have been trying to switch around my night and days to still sleep with hubby who is still adjusting to the 11-7 overnight shift.

Praying Jesus grants your wife healing and wholeness and peace of mind,
and quite interestingly enough, because of the timing and our correspondence earlier, I'm feeling awful today with dental probs, but oddly now with accompanying dizziness, so I'm praying the same touch of God's healing grace for myself as well as your wife.
Father in heaven, you know our needs and how to deliver, grant us more grace and faith to trust in your desire to heal, and help us to abide in your peace and love, we pray, in Jesus' name. Amen.

I say it once and I'll say it again. Always take time to appreciate the good you've been blessed with. Life will fly by in a heart beat when you're not looking. But at the same time, it's a very surreal feeling when you're becoming an adult. When you walk out into the real world and you've got to work your way up top to get to the best. You'll have to make a lot of tough decisions and drive yourself to success. You'll come to realize that your life is just getting started.
