i didn't sleep well last night. i kept waking up and thinking about stuff i need to get done.

The kittens were born May 1st, and Samantha had 4 of them. I emailed Melissa today to find out if there are any females. If there are, I'm getting 2 of them. I've seen pictures of only 2 of the kittens so far, a dark gray and white one, and a light cream orange one. I've decided to stay away from getting another orange one, since my Rusty and Tequila both died of the same disease, 15 years apart. I had to clean up after Rusty would lose his bowels, and I had to clean up after Tequila when she threw up and lost her bowels. Two strikes already.
Please pray there ARE TWO females. At this point, I don't care what color they are, I just want 2 kittens. Hopefully the orange one will be a female..lol.. I'm wrestling with wanting another orange one, but not wanting it to die of the same thing that the other two did. In the end, it doesn't matter, they'll die of SOME sort of disease anyway..
Anyhoo, I need to come up with names!! I'm starting a contest from now until the end of June.. Y'all gotta give me some cool names, and the two people that give me the best names, will each earn a rep comment. Ready, set, go!!

The color of the kitten may suggest its gender. Almost all (but not ALL) kittens of calico (black, white and orange) or tortoiseshell (black and orange) color are females. More orange kittens are male than female although the association between color and sex is not as strong as in the calico/tortoiseshell colored kitten.

My little Beanpod is a blue-gray male and he has loose bowels and throws up a lot also. I suppose that someone has to take care of these little guys. Maybe God gives them to us to teach us to be merciful, gracious, and patient servants to even the least of God's little creations. He who is a good steward of little things will be given greater someday.
