I have judged you should post what you said here. I haven't been saying anything wrong.

As you wish.

Hello Th0mas,

One of the reasons I have wondered if English is your first language is your constant usage of “What may you think“ instead of “What do you think” or “What made you think”.

Another is because you often don’t catch the “meta-meaning” of what someone has posted. The following is an example:

You: I chose to reply to you. What may you think proves precisely that I didn't choose ?

This was meant as a joke. He/she was being playful with you. The appropriate response would have been to be playful back.

“I'm not mocking you. Why did you post in here anyway ? Did you get bored of playing like a child in thread "Speak Your Mind" ? Or did you come to have a disputation that you didn't really want ?”

You are mocking him in this very paragraph. You judge him to be “playing like a child”, and that his motivation was to be argumentative. It again comes from not really understanding what he was trying to communicate. You took general respectful advice as a personal insult and responded with an insult.

The extent to which you are obedient to the Holy Spirit is between you and God. But do you think it is honoring to God when you misunderstand something someone says and then insult them for it?

This misunderstanding of what people post is what leads me to wonder if English is your first language.

Thomas, I don’t think I am trying to be judgmental toward you. I am merely offering some observations that are between you and the LORD GOD to evaluate.

With sincere humble respect, if English is your first language, are there some “issues” in your life that tend to affect your interaction with other people? I have several myself. I am severe ADHD, a bit autistic, and had a “difficult” childhood.

I hope you will not take this note as disrespectful. Part of my “issues” relate to being too honest and straightforward when trying to interact with others. I regularly don’t understand how I come across to others and it has caused me problems all of my life.

My son's cats do.
We once had a big orange tabby who would catch cicadas outside, come indoors and chew their legs off, then drop the legless critter (still alive) at my feet as a gift. I don't know how he managed to do this but no amount of my shrieking my head off at the sight of it inspired him to stop. He also could leap high into the air and catch houseflies and eat 'em, so we never needed a flyswatter. LOLOL!!

I think your post was very appropriate
GALATIANS 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
GALATIANS 5:23 gentleness, self-control.

For the last few months i have been quite depressed because of personal situations (yes that is plural). I just want to publically thank the Holy Spirit for speaking through my good friend "madparrotwoman" and pulling me out of my slump.

Because of this depression God has not allowed me to write much, let alone comment much on here. Because of MPW's gentle "reprimanding" of me through some harsh words (nothing vulgar) she has helped me see my folly in drawing inward instead of outward to God. For those who know me that may sound kind of odd but depression is one of satans greatest weapons against us. Depression draws us inward away from God which is what he wants so to take our focus off of God and put it on self. I know better than this but i did it anyway.

Through her encouragement and her prayers i am back on track. Yes all the things are still there but i can move forward again knowing that God is in control and my life is in His hands (yeah i know this also but ignored it due to depression).

I have a "new" Bible study posted called "Revisiting the Attributes of God". It is one of my favorite studies as it helps me to put things in perspective. If you might be looking for a "true" Bible stidy i encourage you to join me in growing closer to God.

Again thank you MPW! I love you my dear sister in Christ! Good Christian friend are something we should hold close to our heart. The definition of "good Christian friends" is....Madparrotwoman!!! I have never seen such a good display of "constructive critisism" as the way my dear sister spoke to me. I cannot thank her enough.

Hmmm....maybe if i can buy her another parrot :)

A serious moment here...........I saw the NWS Radar Mosaic, and it appears that da Blond and Tourist, and anyone living in the middle Gulf Coast part of Florida are gonna get some really, really heavy rain, and possible strong storms.

Prayers for them..............

Nahum 1:7)
The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

Thanks all for the concern and prayers.... We have had some heavy downpours but there is a lot of cloud cover and at times not any rain at all. It is actually a blessing as an insulated air conditioning saver with all the cloud cover. I told Tourist I love it when we have a few days of clouds as it helps keep the electric bill down especially in a hot month like August.

Man, it's sooo hot in Texas this week.
Supposed to get to 104° by Friday. :p

I was in Texas for a fishing trip back in the late 70's and our group was laughing and having a good time in the car on the way to Possum Kingdom, TX and it was so hot that tar was melted up on top of the road and by the time we got to the fishing hole the worms were fried as we had them in the trunk of the car but probably should have put them in the car with us....they might have made it o.k. at least to the fishing hole you know so we could feed the fish....lol
