My twin brother has two different colored eyes :D

It is a bit subtle with him because one is brown and the other a dark green. Our mother told him that 500 years ago (or so) she would have been forced to throw him over a cliff because of it. Wow. Humans are such strange creatures, sometimes. Our superstitions and lack of understanding make us aliens to our own species.

wait! come back, friend! (it's just me... mom :))

what's up? you normally sleep very well, don't you?

of course you don't have to say, but i'm concerned for you!
Well, I just took my Dad out of the hospital. He has CHF and now only has 15% of his heart functioning. It would appear his time is very short. My brother and I are caring for him but his dementia only exacerbates matters, especially since he is not sleeping at night. My Mom passed away in April and we have been trying to get her estate settled. My brother had a half inch aneurysms burst in his brain about a month ago so I had to keep a close watch on him for a while after he came home. Other than that, it's all good.

He is five minutes older than me :D He wanted to boss me around on that account (being my elder) but I would not let him haha. It was no great loss to him because I have four younger sisters that willingly served him hand and foot (after he forced them into submission haha). I don't mean to make my brother sound like a bad guy, we were all really young in those days, and got into lots of trouble together. No doubt, my poor mother having eleven children to manage, most of us eighteen months apart, we drove her nuts. Still, most of us turned out okay, I think. And my twin brother really is a nice guy. His wife is an absolute sweetheart, and they have two lovely grown children that bracket my only child in age :D

Yes, he seems to be doing fine now. He is well enough that he is able to help care for my Dad.

We had a little family party for my Son's birthday tonight. I wish I still got money in birthday cards.
