depends on the swing of the club i prefer a shovel for digging but a golf club works too sometimes

Why is a 2x4 called a 2x4 when it is actually only a 1.5 x 3.5?
Why when you buy a 33 inch t.v it's really only 30.6 inches?
Why is a hamburger called a hamburger when it gots no ham in it?
And why is a pork butt called a butt when it comes from the front shoulder?
