Grits... hmm. Grits is what happens when you don't grind cornmeal fine enough. Can't make proper cornbread with it, might as well serve it as a breakfast cereal.
There is an abomination in the land these days known as grits with sugar. Grits were never meant for sugar or honey or molasses. Grits are supposed to have cheese melted in, and lots of it. Proper cheese grits should be eaten warm, because cold cheese grits are harder than a tire iron.
