I don't doubt there are good people.
I have a whole list of people I adore on this site and would love to learn from,
BUT
Even since I've joined there has been a definite increase of the opposite people, which has caused many of the wonderful people to leave
If certain threads upset you then I recommend not visiting those threads. I rarely bother to look at a BDF thread. Most of them are really not worth my time to wade through.
Perhaps you could pray for the people on the family forum threads. I do. And of course there is the pray request forum. Prayer is needed there too.
Don't be disgusted with the ignorant and arrogant. Pray for those who need God's help in their lives. (You can even pray for the arrogant and the ignorant. Expecting them to submit to your wisdom is not very profitable in my opinion.)
If I understand the Bible correctly, prayer works. It can help change the lives of others and it will help change your life. Don't be disgusted, be filled with prayer and rejoicing in God our Savior.

Car search update:
Applied for a car loan today for $2995 for this 2008 Ford Focus... I test drove it and it's rides nice. Please be praying for us that we get approved for this loan through our bank. And that there's nothing wrong with this car. Been quiet and not looking lately and hubby found this car driving to work and home. It's a cute little car, just want something more reliable for when baby gets here.

Loan was declined.
I fell to ugly horrible tears... as this was my "last resort" for cheap car payments.
I honestly have no other option other than to take MY crappy car... to an actual car dealership... and try to make that my down payment on a "new" used car. Why WHY is the lord making getting some a car so difficult??? Been looking around and praying for 3 months! And still can't find a damn car! People I'm 10 weeks away from having this baby, and having no car to rely on is REALLY stressing me out.
i just wish that blessing for a car would come sometime soon... in tired of looking, tired of getting shot down... and tired of going to these run-down dealerships and only seeing less than reliable cars in my price range. This is honestly my last resort.. dealership, LOW car payment... TRADE my car in... NOT yet the runaround with the salesmen...
Sigh... is that really so much to ask for....?
