Black coffee is the bomb diggity....oh snap, I mean it's the best ;)
That needs to be a song! Perhaps even a Tee-Shirt! Why are you not rich in the coffee industry? :) Smile.

I need another cup, which do I make it in?

1). My percolator?

2). My automatic drip, non-Keurig?

3). My Keurig?

4). Or, my French press?

I'll go with whichever you vote on....since it is my second round of coffee. Otherwise I would just do the Keurig its fastest!.

I'm not a huge fan of coffee. But, I drink it in the mornings to wake up so I don't resort to energy drinks. (I don't drink any type of soda/energy drinks).

I drink mine with almond milk and two teaspoons of stevia.

You drink yours black? Did you need to acquire that taste, if so?
Definitely better for you than sodas and energy drinks...

At home, I like to put some honey in it. If I don't have any honey at the time, I usually just drink it black. At a restaurant, I usually just drink it black.

I drink almond milk, also - but, not in my coffee. Usually, it is poured over cereal or used as the base liquid for a smoothy type of concoction I make with a blender device. I don't drink dairy milk, unless it comes straight from the cow.

I have used stevia before, but don't really care for it.

Yes - absolutely - drinking coffee black is somewhat of an "aquired taste" in my opinion; however, I have discovered that - the better the coffee - the easier it is to do. Coffee comes in a great variety of difference in quality and taste. Better coffee does not need anything added. Not-nearly-so-good coffee has too much "bitter" in it and really needs something added to make it more enjoyable.

Just brewed me some coffee --- start sipping on it as I write this post... :D

When I was growing up, my Mom used to tell me stories of the family. One of them was that we had "Black Irish" blood mixed in our heritage. I thought that was kinda "cool," even though I didn't understand what it meant. Mom said "Part of our ancestors were REAL Irish!" One time, in School, we were talking about our families and such, and I told the other Students and Teacher that I/my Family were part Black Irish. Well, you shoulda seen the looks on the other kids faces.......... :) Important to know that this was a Junior High School in ALABAMA in the 60's. :)

Needless to say, there had to be some 'splaining to be done by the Teacher to educate the other kids what Black Irish was/meant. Irish people with dark/black hair and eyes, and, sometimes dark/olive skin. There is a definition as to why they are called the "real Irish......."

Black Irish
1)Real Irishmen. Not Blondes or Ginger Snaps with freckles or any garbage like that. Despite popular belief, Black Irish is not from Spain, because the ORIGINAL Celtic inhabitants of the British Isles all had black hair, the Celts being from Gaul(France, hence the language Gaelic) so they had black hair. The only reason why most Scotch-Irish people have blond or red hair and freckles is because of the humungous Viking and Saxon influence. Therefore, Black Irish is the Real Irish. The End.

Now this may or may not be authentic, but it is the urban legend of the Black Irish. :)

Urban Dictionary: Black irish

Good morning everyone. Breakfast and coffee is ready. :)

With all that coffee pouring into that cup all of the time, even when no one is viewing the thread, aren't you afraid that the coffee will overflow and make the thread all messy?

I Timothy 1:4-6
"Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than Godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned.
From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;"

I Timothy 4:7

"But refuse profane and old wives fables, and exercise thyself rather unto Godliness"

I have decided to follow Paul's instruction.

Farewell

Interesting lesson on Black Irish Little Elephant... Family background is a neat thingy. I did one of those DNA tests to find out what this Blond is and I thought that I was an American Mutt and that my pie chart would look like little slivers of everything.

Well to my surprise I'm 85% and that's a BIG slice of my pie Great British with 10% Europe making me a Whopping 99% European... 1% mixture of mutt... The shock is I'm almost a pure breed....that's almost funny thinking I was a mutt all these years.

Now the real interesting thing is that my Dad probably isn't my biological Dad as what I was told of his background there is none of it in my DNA.... I do know for a fact my Mom was a party girl and looks like she partied a little too much.

My Dad who raised me is the only one I know and love but it is questionable... These DNA thingies sure do bring up a lot of questions at least for this Blond.... now I go in search of possible relations of people I don't know....and who may not want to know me....the fun stuff...

Well the good or bad news is Mom and Dad are dead so no ones feelings can be hurt...except for mine.

Wow, you have an olive tree? I am impressed! The oregano oil I use is normally Natural Factors (organic) but it is only 80% carvacrol compared to the one I now have, which is New Roots brand Wild Mediterranean Oregano C93 and it is 93% carvacrol, so that is more potent, right? And it does not seem to taste as bad (I tip my head back and try dropping it as far back into my mouth/throat as possible to avoid the taste buds if I can :D) There is going to be a close to 50% off sale at one of my fave health food/organics stores during the first weekend of the new year, so I am going to buy some more then, and stock up a bit :)

Tried, tested and true. Thanks for the recommendation, beautiful outcome! Be blessed as was I in finding this through you from the Lord.

They did DNA tests on identical triplets and identical quadruplets on the tv shows Inside Edition and The Doctors and they all came back with slightly different backgrounds, which doesn't make sense, proving that these DNA tests are not accurate. I really really wish they had sent their samples in separately, like on different dates and with different addresses. The results came back in one package for each set of siblings so the testers already KNEW that they were related. Not very scientific at all, but the results still showed discrepancies that could not be explained.

Sooo, I waited ALL AFTERNOON yesterday, eagerly awaiting to see the Canada Kittens' adoptions. BUT since their adopters wished to be off-screen, all I and the other watchers got to see and hear were the floor, and their voices.. :/ VERY disappointing and totally not worth having wasted my day..

Maybe the adoptions of the British Columbia Fire feral kittens will be more interesting.. They're being socialized so they aren't feral anymore..

If anyone wishes to watch, go to youtube and type in "tinykittens bc fire ferals"..

The "Canada Kittens" get adopted today!! Woo hoo.. View attachment 173560
