Will be batting down the hatches tomorrow...Umbrella on table put up and moving smaller projectiles into the shed so a stiff wind won't throw them through a window things like that. The patio furniture is so old may pull it apart and toss it ahead of the storm. Good news new furniture for next summer.

Hurricanes are so much fun to get ready for. Will also check across the street and see how much a new cat carrier is if there are any left in case we do have to pack up the puddy's and travel will be taking back roads to get away from the main mess if have to go heading north if need be. Stiff upper winds and all. Still watching and praying that it will take a turn to the north sooner rather than later.

Do you live in a single family home or a multi level condo or something else? Are you on the ground floor or up in the air?

Update on daddy:

He went home yesterday, is doing well but is still on oxygen. He's not happy about that, lol.. I'm going over on Saturday to pick up the fallen apples from their apple tree.. Oh and he has pneumonia and his oxygen sats are only at 92%.

We are in a townhome so we have two levels. Was thinking about looking for a raft as we could shove off from the second level.. ships ahoy.....

Hoping you guys stay on the West side of the storm. Things won't be great, but a whole lot better than being on the Northeast side.........the "dirty" side....... What would be really great is if it makes a really HARD RIGHT and heads back out into the Atlantic! Either way, I pray God will keep you both sheltered beneath His Wings.

:)

Tentative change of plans, depending on the path of Irma and the strength there is a possibly that we may indeed be getting out of Dodge, so says the wife. If I decide to hunker down I will be doing it alone. What a bummer.

Good morning everyone, just wanted to hop on here and let everyone know, me and baby are doing just fine... still counting down the days till he gets here. 5 weeks and 5 days now... and believe it or not, the further I get to my due date... the less I am able to do, and the less I'm able to eat... and the more tired I become. I literally look like I have a basketball in my belly right now. I didn't think I would grow much but... Mother Nature sure has her ways of surprising me. Lol

Anyways... I'm still her, but I'll keep you all updated on how I'm doing up till it's "baby time!".

Hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week!

Till later :)
