Yeah, the opacity lightens the text so that I can see more of the cat's face, but then it changes some of the words to colors that I don't want.. lol

You could make the text box more transparent, to see a bit of the cat's face beneath it Maybe pattern it some like the earlier samples?

Or, once you have added the text, do a free transform on that layer to arc around the bottom of the cat's face, then it is not blocking the pretty kitty at all And add a layer style

Create that layer separately then, and when you have the opacity right, then add the text as a layer on top of it

Magenta, would you mind editing this so that the white background is gone? That's how it's supposed to be with just the lettering, but my Pixlr won't let me do it.. I think I missed a step somewhere.. lol
