My only marshmallow experience was around a campfire when I was probably 7 or 8 years old. I roasted and ate three. Then I felt terrible and "lost" them all behind a tree. Now I will only eat them raw, and only one at most.

Have you guys seen those JUMBO marshmallows? Saw them at a campfire last summer. They are GIANT!!

There, am I doing better at being less serious?

i knew you had to have some marshmallow experience. :)
sorry it was so unpleasant, though. that's rough.

this thread....it's like a little oasis in the BDF, which can be troublesome at times.
but you can be serious, if you like. :)

My father tells this story about when he was little and went camping with his family, they gave his sister a bag of marshmallows, then all went into the cabin to get something else....they heard a scream and came running out, she was circled by a bunch of raccoons and she kept trying to give them one marshmallow at a time hoping they would leave so she could have the rest....

Since most threads seem to have trouble staying on topic I thought I would simply start one that has no topic and just see where it goes. So, in that vein, Speak Your Mind.
So far it seems to be revolving around food... :p
