Btw does anyone have a thing at church or any so called organisation where some people die before anything ever gets done. Maybe the roof is falling in, could possibly fall on someone but nobody wants to take responsibitly to fix it.

And one has warned others if its not fixed, someone could die. Just as an example. And later the person that gets killed by the roof, the people that stalled the roof getting fixed just go oh well they were going to die anyway.

I just think thats the despicable attitude of some elders. Sorry i just had to get that off my chest.

It seems like I have spent this whole year praying for people in the path of the storms that continue to rage across our Nation. Goodness............ I know God promised not to destroy the earth by flood again, and I believe Him, but it sure does seem like He is causing the just and the unjust to get a extra large helping of rain/sleet/snow! :)

Last year was one of the wettest I can ever recall here in Dixie, and the News said that from December until Friday, we have had some 23 to 26 inches of rain! The folks up in the Northern States are surely suffering through a whole lot of sleet, snow and ice too!

I just keep praying for God to protect His children............for I am convinced what He does not keep us from, He will keep us through.

Hebrews 13:5) Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Isaiah 4:6) And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

Deuteronomy 31:6 - Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he [it is] that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

I was watching this history dvd about the States and its all about the 50 states in america.
All those who live in the southernmost states like florida and louisiana are already half underwater anyway. They need to move to higher ground, like...Oregon. Or Montana. And apparently there are not many people living in .wyoming. Kansas seems to get a lot of twisters too. Location location location thats what it is.
Another thing I learned was that Utah is really mormons country and it wasnt made a state in the union until they renounced polygamy.

As for religious freedom, funny thing is the puritans left england so they could have religious freedom from the church of england and when they got to america they didnt want anyone else who wasnt puritan to have religious freedom either.

The evening started out with tornado warned storm headed towards me. About 15 miles from me, it played out........and I got hard rain, but little wind, and no hail............Hard rain off and on for 5 hours, and then, finally, the storm line came to an end with.......yup......a tornado warned storm headed toward me. And, again, it played out about 10 or 12 miles from me.

GOD IS SURELY GOOD!

:)

The News reported that our part of the Tennessee River has reached a flood level that is the highest recorded since the TVA built it's Dam System back in the 1930's...............Wow! That's like a 250'ish Year Flood! We have had a whole lotta rain in the last 10 days alone, and the river was STILL at flood stage from all the rain we have had since the 1st week of December.........

Anyway, after tonight, we are suppose to start drying out.........man, RIGHT NOW a drought about 2 months long REALLY, REALLY looks good............ :)

One blessing is I have not heard of any loss of life from the flood waters these last 10 days............BUT........some areas are so flooded, the Authorities have not yet been able to access them, soooooooo. Praying there won't be any. Wh

Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q was the "2014 World BBQ Champion" and it's easy to see why. They've been smoking some of the BEST barbecue for many years. They also introduced us to the famous white barbecue sauce we can't seem to get enough of. Their pulled pork and stuffed baked potatoes are beyond DELICIOUS! Great prices! Great service! Great BBQ! I highly recommend stopping by Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q if you're ever in the Decatur area. They have two locations: 1715 6th Ave SE (US Hwy 31), Decatur, AL 35601 and 2520 Danville Rd SW, Decatur, AL 35603. Hours: Every Day 9:30am-8:15pm (dine in) / 9:30am-8:30pm (drive thru)

Dreamland Bar-B-Que is an Alabama restaurant chain that offers delicious ribs, pulled pork, pork shoulders and hickory smoked sausage. The original Dreamland Bar-B-Que has a limited menu, serving foods such as ribs, hickory smoked sausage, baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad, white bread and banana pudding. With a casual atmosphere at all of their locations, you'll feel right at home when you dine at Dreamland Bar-B-Que. The original Dreamland Bar-B-Q is located at 5535 15th Ave E, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405. Hours: Mon-Sat 10:00am-9:00pm / Sun 11:00am-9:00pm

Big Cove BBQ is definitely a hidden gem in Alabama and serves some of the BEST pulled pork you'll ever eat! The homemade side dishes are also incredibly DELICIOUS! Elvis was a fan of this BBQ joint, and I'm sure you'll be too. Big Cove BBQ is located at 153 Taylor Rd SE, Owens Cross Roads, AL 35763. Hours: Mon-Sat 11:00am-7:00pm

These are all good, and I should know........I've eaten enough of their tasty pork offerings! But my favorite place is a little place in Marshall County between Morgan City and Arab, on Hwy 231, atop Brindlee Mt. called Walkers BBQ.......man..........MAN.........pulled pork from HEAVEN.

Aw we dont have anything like that in nz. BBQ for us is, usually sausages on a grill not big huge slabs of meat. We do have hangi but only special occasions. Sometimes chicken wings or kebabs.

I have this book called the Barbecue Bible. Its not actually a bible bible, it doesnt have scripture, its about this one guy who goes all around the world sampling different countries bbqs and got recipes etc.

Mouthwatering. My church friend says shes wanting to have a bbq, was going to have it today but our weather is so unpredictable cos of having four seasons in one day, that she cancelled it. I would have just said have it anyway whats a little shower, they never last long in auckland. Im sure people still bbq in the rain.

I have seen that Book once........can't remember where. It's been a long time ago....... (BBQ Bible)

Do you have Pork there? Lamb probably wouldn't work, dunno, only had lamb once, but it wasn't BBQ'ed. IF you have port in the butcher shops/stores there, check to see if they have Boston Butt cuts........ If they do, get one!

Don't expect you to go to all the trouble and expense of building a BBQ Pit to smoke your own meats, so I'll give you an easy way to get some tasty Pulled Pork BBQ/Boston Butt.

Take a 3 to 5 pound Butt and place it in a Slow Cooker/Crock Pot. Add 1/2 cup water, 2 cups of your favorite BBQ Sauce (if they sell it thered......I love Bulls Eye Hickory), 1/4 Red Onion diced well, 1 clove fresh Garlic, 1 tbs Black Pepper, 1 tbs Salt (I like sea salt for this). Set the temperature on High until the juice begins to boil, then reduce the heat and cook the Butt for AT LEAST 6 hours. Sometimes, I will cook mine on Low Heat all night and half the morning.......but you get really, really HUNGRY smelling that wonderful meat for that long! :)

Best way to tell when it's done is to take a fork and see if it will pull apart easily.........We call that "fork tender" Boston Butt..... :)

When it's ready, serve with Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, French Fries/Baked Potato. I like to add slices of Tomato and Avocado on the side........they make a nice substitute for salad in my opinion.

SIDEBAR; That Big Cove BBQ I posted a pic of flooded this past Saturday.......and, speaking of that......... The Average Annual Rainfall Total for Alabama is 54 inches. SINCE Dec 1st, we have had 30 1/2 inches, and it is suppose to rain Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
:) We are on pace to destroy all Records for rainfall in a single year!
