They have tried this a bunch of ways...and it still doesn't work. The problem is the semiconductors...they are extremely brittle and easily cracked/broken with the normal use of your hands. Then the heat from your body is another hindrance. Then there's the attack by your various immune systems...(our bodies are extremely hostile to foreign invaders)
Even pacemakers have to be replaced regularly.

I wouldn't count on anything computerized working for long. Static electricity still is impossible to get past too. Until they discover a flexible but resilient material for semiconductor Wafers. (Not happening but they are trying)

It's one of those things...the "stamp/mark" is one similar to slavery ownership where in the Old Testament they would do this to a slave wishing permanent ownership by a family and it was done by means of an awl through the ear. The Romans used similar behaviors except it was done by branding on the hands or forehead.
Which the current Christian community really doesn't want to recognize that people were once that barbaric or desperate.
As I understand it, this is where the vaccines come in. It is assisting the scientist with blood of fireflies (injected as part of the vac) to prepare your body to take the chip. Without it your body will act with hostility towards the implant.

That is looking absolutely beautiful!
If I recall correctly, you said this is for sister in law?
You two must have a good relationship for you to put all this time, effort and love into a special project gift.
I'm sure she'll love it!
And I hope you share pics of the finished project with us.
Yeah I do love her a lot.
She is just a year younger than my son. And she has finished college in spite of every reason to quit. I also have an uphill battle to bear with her too because I married her sister and took her away from her. She still holds a grudge about that too. Pen loop or not to install a pen loop....that's a big question on my mind...I'll get it figured out eventually.

Christmas is coming...and soon I'll have to begin all the cookies and candies and gingerbread houses. Because the weekend after Christmas cookies and candies start going out. I got just two weeks here and then it's off to Georgia for two weeks.

Maybe I got time to make my wife's journal before I got to get cracking on the candy. (She likes red leather)

I enjoy crafts and making stuff that others enjoy and use...this leather stuff will last a lot longer than any meal or treats I make. But they taste too good not to.

offer the pen loop to be added later if she so desires?
It would need to be included when I go to sew it up...one set of stitches. Or even if I attached it to an interior pocket away from the seam I need to do so before the pocket is attached. It's much much easier to sew on that way.
It is possible (but really risky) to add it by means of adding a snap or rivet assembly...but then the snap or rivet will wear out over the years (if a snap isn't lost) and add a wear spot in the meantime.

I think that I've talked myself out of it...she can always just stuff a pen/pencil in one of the pockets...they are going to be tight anyway and it will help loosen them up over the years. Making them easier to use.

It's always about the feel and durability when making leather goods. (So much cheap stuff or half finished handmade is on the market) but every edge that can be touched needs rounding and finishing. No rough or sharply cut edges should ever be felt. No rawhide ever seen or felt.
This isn't like a leather tool bag pouch that's all industrial strength... although with the type of leather I'm using it will last for decades. You won't ever see this type of stuff in any bookstore or department store shelf.
I've talked to several people who do this stuff for a living...they charge what I see as outrageous prices...but since it lasts a super long time and stays nice and is custom made...they can get it....but they said to pay attention to every small detail. Leave nothing untreated and look ahead at potential problems. Your reputation can actually outlive you. (It probably won't...but it could)

A Christian friend shared this persons work... Nannette, as he is seeing this type troubled person more and more and thought it would be a good thing to share, I recall a lot of inmates are diagnosed as this type personality disorder and as the devil knows his time is short we can expect to see more and more fall for his deception in this way.https://www.facebook.com/LightOverN...udDozODIxNDc3MzM2MjIwODJfMzgyODA1OTIzNTU2MjYz

I heard from a conservative talk show host (I think it was Ben Shapiro) that someone is saying that in the near future, when people will be required to show proof of vaccination in order to enter stores and restaurants and stuff, instead of carrying around papers as proof, vaccinated people will receive a special tattoo on the back of their hand to prove they are vaccinated.

Yeah sounds like it is all coming together slowly. Just a matter of time I guess. How quickly that happens or how slowly it may happen is unknown atm.

I am working in my garden today. Replanting some stuff and pretty much changing everything. It will keep me out of mischief. I am keen how to learn how to use a drill and things so I can make a few things. Waiting on the mens shed to find out if they will allow women to join. Hopefully they will.
