I used to live there.......
in fact, I lived there a large majority of my life........
problem was I didn't know I was living there until I moved away and reflected back.
Very crippling place to be.

I hear you.
I have always been a rebel......

Never have cared what people think or say about me.
When I was in school,I dressed like I WANTED !

It hasn't changed in many many yrs.
I had to learn to like myself for WHO I am,...be that odd, non- conformist, or just plain eccentric.

You know what,I embrace myself.
God has made each of us unique.
The sands of OUR LIVES have polished us into precious pearls!

I want the weekend here…. didn’t have the best weekend and had a crappy start to the week and I’m not feeling much better today either. Seems like I’ve been hit with a dump truck and I can’t get back up, or get over this “hump”. but I know there’s others who have it way worse than me.. but you get the gist.

Today on my way home, I passsed by a yard where a small boy was at the gate. He had a mop which he had been beating against the gate and the top of the mop fell off on the other side. When he saw me approaching he called to me by saying, "hey! little girl"

I got his mop for him and told him, I was not a little girl 🤣.

Been going through stuff for a month. Really struggling. A real battle to keep from being negative. Some of the time I didn't even fight it. A few hours ago on the forum, I got my sense of humor back. Then I felt the inner joy flowing again. A breakthrough! Praise God! Whew!

And we have this commandment from Him: Whoever loves God must love his brother as well. 1 Jn 4:21

But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. Jms 1:22

It's a good thing that there's more hope for a fool like me than for one who is wise in their own eyes.

"The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments," - 1 Corinthians 2:15
" and with diligence to preserve the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." Ephesians 4:3
" 2 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:12-14
