Masks will not keep you from catching covid, not even the 95 or 94 rated ones. There are still 5 or 6% of the bugs getting thru. But research shows that how sick you get depends upon the viral load you're exposed to ... were you exposed to 100 of the germs or 1000 of them? So the emphasis is not stopping it, but mitigating it's effects.

Masks to me are a sign of community, we're in it together and lets do what we can even if it's not perfect. Like Gen 18, if my wearing a mask saves only one person from severe sickness or death, I'll do it. Jesus would have gone to the cross for only one. So for me to say "it won't save enough to be worthwhile" seems sorta unBiblical
Yes the masks do not keep you from catching covid nor do the vaccines, my friend put it this way if you can smell a dart while wearing a mask you can catch covid. To me the masks symbolize us being silenced on most social media your freedom of speech is not allowed if you speak the truth or speak anti democrate in any way you are banned called a racists or told your spreading misinformation.

I saw the movie don't look up which was a good movie but it reminded me of our current state in the u.s. they don't want us to look at what is really going on and have the nation distracted with their propaganda, another similarity I saw was how the ones in charge are wanting to make a massive progit from the current danger.

but covid is in the air guys; the air in marketplaces and business buildings outside your comfort zone. I got covid from breathing the air at a Costco marketplace and I wasn't wearing a mask because I thought I was too far from the car by the time I remembered then I thought I was doing a quickie by running in and out of the store as I did my shopping then later that night I felt a burning sensation on the walls of my throat it burned like hell then it went away then it slowly did its work as the days passed by and it came back as a "cold" then Sunday I lost my taste and smell and as my sis was testing me with her home kit I tested positive and I was losing my breath I thought I was gonna choke to death then I thought of my fam members who get seriously sick from covid and how it affects their lungs (because they're alcoholic) so then I thought nah I don't drink that much so my lungs should be ok. (One uncle from my mom's side died btw) so then I went to sleep and the next morning I woke up breathing better but with the same symptoms and here I am still waiting to be normal again but im treating it like a cold so I'm taking DayQuil which helps a lot. And I also called my doctor and they don't have spaces available right now but they will give me a call as soon as they can. Darn I also missed my dentist appt. But im ok I don't have fever and im breathing better I'm just quarantined for a while. JUST WEAR YOUR MASK there's no quickies.
Your right there is no quickies but not because of the masks but because there is not going to be a normal again this whole covid situation is about control not about health and science has proven the masks don't help and that the vaccines don't do any good in fact most cases of covid now are those who are vaccinated.

I read an online prayer: it started in China @posthuman can maybe calculate how much and how fast can covid travel per distance. Anyway, if it wasn't real then why is there no cure like with the other viruses there should be something but I can understand it might take them a while ;/

Bacteria are what we have treatment for, not virus.
the common cold is a virus, you can't get rid of it, if you are immune compromised and it advances to pneumonia that can be treated with antibiotics.

I never said it wasn't real I was saying it isn't about civid itself as it is a construct to control everyone rather than protect them. I have a damaged immune system and have diebetes my body doesn't function as well as others yet I was around people who we found out tested positive and still didn't catch it so if it is as bad and as dangerous as they say by all means I should not only have caught it I should be dead.

Covid is more like a sibling of the flue it has many of the same symptoms and affects and most people don't bother to do actual research they just blindly listen to what they are told but documents after documents have shown that most cases do not even relate to death and that this virus is over exaggerated not only that but don't you find it odd that everyone in the country is being demanded to get the vaccine but the thousands of illegal immagents that are now pretty much freely coming over do not?

I would encourage you to do some deep digging into this plandemic don't be a sheep do the research search for the truth

well a typical passenger jet travels around 550mph, and respiratory diseases are transferred person-to-person so there's your answer.
((jejeje))

@Blain the masks are effective just not 100% preventative. same concept as sneezing into your elbow vs. sneezing into someone's face.
also i think 'vaccine' probably isn't the right word, because we don't have something like a polio vaccine yet where, you take this shot, you won't get polio -- what we have is a rushed-to-market set of shots that will help a person not have the virus as badly as if they had no shot. because the point is, and has always been, if we do nothing then potentially the hospitals are overrun with patients and no one is at work at all because everyone is sick. what we have is a bunch of half-measures that heck yeah don't add up to a cure but that doesn't mean none of them are helpful just because none of them are a 100% cure.

i'm not going to refuse medical help for a bullet wound just because medical help didn't prevent me from getting a bullet wound in the first place. i'm gonna have a scar. i can take steps to stop myself from dying from it. that doesn't mean the not-die-from-it steps are useless, just because i still have a scar ;)

the vaccine is worse than the virus imo.
i'm not sure.
i have been vaccinated for sure, and only has a sore arm for a couple days, because someone put a needle in my shoulder.
i may or may not have had the virus - i'm not going to get tested and find out - but i have had what was no different than a regular mild cold . maybe that's because i have been regularly taking a lot of immune-system-boosting vitamins for years, maybe because all i actually had was a common cold or seasonal allergies, maybe because the i did have some covid variant and the vaccine was helpful -- who knows? unless i go get some bloodwork done for the presence of antibodies, i won't know. i don't really care.

what is worse, IMO, is how politicized the whole thing has become. people are under-reacting because politics, and other people are over-reacting because politics, and a lot of people who used to care about the Bible now spend all there time reading vaccine-conspiracy pages instead, and imagine it's a 'christian' thing to do.

it'd be great if we could get back to some sense of normalcy. btu even if i think it's gone crazy i'm not going to make myself a lawbreaker just because i'm not convinced some things are useful or necessary. at my work, we've gone back to requiring masks all day when we're near others. what do i look like if i refuse to? i look like someone who disregards authority. am i being hurt by it? nope. in fact my nose stays warm. is it a rule that makes sense? who cares -- it doesn't necessarily make sense that i have to also wear safety glasses whenever i'm under a 6,000lb hunk of metal either ((i mean how does that help?)) but guess what -- i complied with that rule too, because likewise, it's not 'attacking my religion' and it's not 'infringing on my rights' -- it's just one more piece of PPE i have to keep up with.

i'm tired of it for sure. and i question how much good it does. but is it Christian of me to ignore the laws and rules just because i think they're a bit unnecessary? no -- that's not Christianity. that's every-man-make-his-own-laws. the Bible tells me to obey the authorities, not to call conspiracy what everyone calls conspiracy, and not to go along with people who want to overthrow the government. so i do what's asked of me, like a servant -- yes, like a sheep. no one is ordering me to disavow my faith - they're asking me to help prevent the spread of disease. is washing my hands after i blow my nose, or staying home when i'm sick anti-God? wow, no! it's common decency!

overall i'm like, who cares -- live with it -- remember when we used to talk about Jesus?

We knew it from several prophetic teachers, the virus would be easy to defeat, the "vaccine" would do the killing, seems to be another way of separating His sheep from the adversaries goats, the wheat from the tares as He said He would.
best wishes

true it is a very rushed solution, if it is done right then it would be like the flue shot we get every year this year where I live they didn't get the strain right so I got the flue even though I got the shot. I'm actually mad at the facility because they told me I tested positive for covid so I went to my doctor he tested me and said no it's the flue not covid. And yes it is also true that it isn't that these things don't help at all but to be so demanding of it like the biden administration quite frankly is suspicious they even tried over reaching the constitution to enforce the vaccine on employees which luckily the court said was unconstitutional.

Taking good measures against the virus is all well and good but we also have to understand the bigger picture here this is about more than just the virus

The conditioning have you ever read that book? it is a really old book so I would not be surprised if you haven't but the book is about a young man who lives in an era where more and more rules are placed on the citizens some of them outright bizzare and make no sense it starts off with little things but slowly becomes more and more tyranical until his very faith is then attacked and made illegal but because his family complied with every rule that was set before them they were conditioned to comply and take the mark of the beast against his desperate pleas.

It is a rather dark book but you see this is what is happening now, we are being conditioned for the real thing and we can say we won't take the mark but if we cannot refuse small things how can we refuse the big ones? It always starts off with small freedoms and small things that is how every tactical tryinay in history got it's footing then it grows more and more until one day we live in complete rule of the ones in charge

Almost everything is politicized now til those who are truth seekers go by prayer, facts and those dying around us.

I always wear my mask. The ones the VA gives me. But, then, I have since about 2014 when my PC Dr. told me to start wearing masks evey time I left the house in order to combat my problem with severe sinus allergies.........

According to my PC Dr. and every Dr. I have spoken with in the VA, my mask prevents 99% of the mean nasties from gettin into my nasal passages. And that is good enough to prevent me from catching a whole bunch of nasty things!

Every Expert has their opinion, and they all believ they are the only one who is right. What I know is: since I have been wearing masks, my severy sinus allergies are way, way better, and thus far, PRAISE GOD, I have not contracted Covid even though the County I live in in Bama is a "hot spot" for Covid..........

Praise God, He is most to praise! What people forget is that God GIVES WISDOM to those who dedicate their lives to healing the afflicted and the lame!!!!!! Going to a Doctor IS NOT against the Word of God, nor is it unBiblical........To think so is to think that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are not "of God."

JTB said:
Jesus would have gone to the cross for only one.

Gandy said:

This is unBiblical :(

IMO, what Gandy might mean, and I believe IF JTB is saying that Jesus would "only die" for one person, then that does not reflect Scripture......

God gave His Son so that "ALL WHO BELIEVE" would be saved. God wants ALL to be saved!

The precious blood of Jesus covers the sins of ALL WHO BELIEVE....

so in that sense, saying He would have died for "just one" is to say that God ONLY WANTED to save ONE person...........
