Location, Location, Location is a business principle that has been repeated a lot.
In our search for a location we are getting pretty much abused.
Between the realtors and the corporate giants and the property owners...we would have a great case for discrimination because we are a start up.
We are continually told that we can have the worst retail locations possible...but a decent one? Not going to happen. We can have an asbestos filled place for a bakery.
We can have a place that faces the loading dock and trash dumpsters of a strip mall...but if it faces the street? Nope! And then they want to charge us outrageous fortunes for rent at the same time.
It's getting to the point of ridiculousness.
And so the search continues...we are trying to be flexible...but it's becoming harder and harder to stay positive.
